Jace had stayed long enough to see his sister get married. The guy wasn’t bad per say but not someone he would have wanted her to be with. The reception was underway with everyone dancing. Corrine stood off to the side watching as the others enjoyed themselves. Jace watched her, watching others and realized he should try to make amends.
He walked over to her and bumped into her shoulder. “You still mad at me?”
She tried to ignore him but he wouldn’t allow that to happen. He kept nudging her until she as angry enough to snap at him, “Stop you dummy.”
