"Are you in a relationship with my daughter?" Father interrupted, his forehead creased as he stared intently at Leon.

And I could feel trouble brewing.

"Yes," he repeated, this time realizing my father's serious gaze fixed on him.

My father cleared his throat in response and wrapped an arm around Leon's shoulders, bringing him closer. Leon didn't resist. "We will talk about this later, umm?" he said hoarsely, locking eyes with Leon, and we could all feel the tension in his voice.

"Right now, the focus is on Lovella, whom we haven't seen in years." His gaze scanned all of us at once. "Let's go inside." He concluded, tapping Leon on the back before releasing him from his hold.
