“Sir, follow this way”One of Damon's guards led a man who had other armed men following him into Damon's house. He leads them into the apartment where he locked Amelia. Amelia. Amelia…Damon kept calling with a low voice, unlike the Damon Amelia knew. He was standing at a distance, contemplating whether to go closer or stay at the distance. Amelia, on the other hand, was just tearing up while laying helplessly on the bed. Saying that her face was pale would just be an understatement. She's lost her glamour to the expression on her face. I can't say whether it's because of things happening to her or anything else, but she looked so unkempt. The moon shone so bright that all the earth's lies had their shadow cast just beside them. It was too bright that one could count the number of trees that grew by the roadside. The gentle breeze of Italy kept the trees dancing to the drumbeat of nature as they created hissing sounds rhythmically. A car headlight could be seen as it was approaching at high speed. The car speed was beyond normal and the roadway noise was too loud. Just in a twinkle of an eye, the car passed across, revealing Damon as he was alone in the car. His destinations were traced as he passed through a wide gate and halted in a well-decorated compound. The guards were greeting him as he came out of his car, but he cared not to return the greetings, rather he hurried into the mansion that was right before him. While Amelia had checked whether anyone was looking in her direction, she turned her head to see if she would take some of her clothes and leave the room, but her focus caught CCTV cameras fixed just at the end of every partition of the compartment.Ugh!!!!She exclaimed while expressing how disappointed she was. Damon cared not whether he was respected or not. He moved a step to meet with Amelia, but it seemed he was swimming against the ocean current. He paused for a moment, but couldn't just take his eyes off Amelia's direction. “Amelia, I want to see you in my office now”. He ordered as Amelia cared not to acknowledge his presence any longer. She lifted her face and threw an embarrassing look at Damon. Since Damon already made his command, he threw his face in another direction and couldn't see Amelia when she was using her eyes in place of a weapon.“ You heard me right?”He growled as he turned to look at Amelia. Since Damon began to use those uncongenial words on Amelia, she felt like the ground should just open and swallow her. She began to look for faults in her dressing again. Gradually, tears began to form in her eyes. She waited for Damon's response, but that wasn't coming. Instead, Damon focused strictly on the book he was reading. Turning from one page to the other as though he weren't reading but checking something, with immense seriousness written all over his face.“Who told you to sit?”Damon screamed as he saw Amelia slowly perching on the chair since she was tired of standing. Hot tears dropped from Amelia's eyes as she hurriedly stood up in response to Damon's command. 'If I'm supposed to die here, my prudence can't prevent it.
