It was as if she were present all around me, and it seemed as if her warmth, perfume, and everything else that she was had wrapped themselves around my body and fully enveloped me in their presence. It was almost as if she was present in my consciousness — or my soul, if there was such a thing — and I was present in hers at the same time.
