Upon hearing the statements of Mr. Tan, he couldn't speak in total stupefaction since he's not used to being rejected yet so he considered a lot of things.

"This is all your fault, Caruss!" he blurted out a very strong emotion in his psyche. "If I was aware that you've been employed here, I wouldn't have arranged a meeting and hesitated to come."

While he was still adequately talking to Mr. Tan, he simply ignored the insult to him.

"Mr. Tan, I work professionally," he parted his lips and started a conversation once more, "and what I have learned from my experiences, it's not about the character and attitude in human conduct when it comes to modeling, rather it's about whether he's committed and competent at everything he's expected to do."
