As Blake was going to head towards his room, Sylvia grabbed his hand and pulled him aside. She nervously asked, “What did your father mean with those words?”

He raised an eyebrow.

“Which ones?”

“All that during dinner. Summarize it.” Sylvia looked at him with a sense of urgency.

At this, he was kind enough to explain.

“Probably get a group of bodyguards to follow you around.”

Sylvia was dumbfounded at it.

“Isn’t that too high-key even for rich kids like you?” she questioned.

“You have the tendency to run into trouble,” he pointed out, “it would be good for you.”

What did he mean good? Having bodyguard follow her around just like how a nanny kept an eye on a young child was embarrassing. She wouldn’t be able to show her face outside.

“Wouldn’t that be disadvantageous to you? You won’t be able to bully me,” Sylvia spoke out. She hoped Blake would be able to convince his father to choose otherwise.
