Safe Enough

Sylvia paused at the scene.

Three boys stood tall. They were well-built and had a sadistic grin on their faces as they derived fun out of torturing the smaller boy sitting on the ground, covering his head for protection.

She recognized the boy to be Mark.

It would be best for Sylvia to pretend that this scene was invisible and walk away from there. All the other students did that. No one called for the teachers.

From what she learned after being at this school was that the teachers held barely any power. The students ruled the school. Therefore, even if the students complained, the teacher would order them to not create an issue over petty matters.
