Tend To Act Up

Sylvia was alone on the bed when she woke up the next morning. There was a hint of sense of loss in her chest before she got over it and sat up on the bed.

Following that, she washed up before heading downstairs. There was a dull fear remaining within her, and being alone in her room increased that. That’s why, she was quick to leave her room.

It was little late to have breakfast.

When Sylvia head downstairs, her steps stopped at the sight of Liam. The man’s eyes fell on her, scrutinizing her.

“Thank you,” Sylvia expressed.

It was indeed because of Liam that she got abducted. However, he had the choice of not going through trouble and abandoning her. But he didn’t choose to do so. There was no way he didn’t suffer from losses by choosing to rescue her in that manner.

And for Sylvia, being treasured was a foreign feeling. Regardless of how she normalized not being cared for, in the end, she did crave for love.
