Crying

Leila's POV.

"Leila." The head slave's voice always made me nervous. I ran as fast as I could to where she stood.

My heart began its rhythmic thumping, my hands were sweaty and I was breathing heavily like I had just run a marathon in the morning.

I tried to take deep breaths, and my chest tightened with each intake of oxygen.

My vision began to blur and I thought that this might be another one of my panic attacks. I hated them so much, they seemed worse than the previous ones I'd been having, but I couldn't afford any more trouble.

The fact that I was weak and I had a weak wolf made me nervous every time, I couldn't confront, I wasn't strong enough.

My hands were trembling now as I reached her side, trying desperately not to show how scared I was.

I hoped it wasn't the alpha who told her to call me, he normally punished me everytime he feels like I've not been punished enough.

seriously, why can't the female lead just reject the cruel alpha? how many more chapters before she finds strength to leave the pack and alpha? how many more chapters of Leila will she continue to cry? its sad, pathetic ... and frustrating
