Chapter Twelve

We head towards our earlier destination, the restroom but I’ve lost interest in all things and would rather just go back home and pee in my own comfortable, safe toilet with no lying ambush in sight. I spend more than the usual time required and after I'm done using the restroom and washing my hands and face, I step out to join Cassie who stands waiting for me in the hallway.
