Codyn recognized one of the wolves and managed to get to me that we needed him, I didn’t know why, but I put my trust in him. We had finally trapped him and taken him down. I told him to shift, allowing my aura to slip on accident but surprised to see him immediately shift and submit. He turned to me and said in a sovereign tone, “Alpha.”

I quickly walled up my aura but I looked to Codyn to see him doing the same thing. He was kneeling with his hand over his chest. When he stood I saw his wolf’s eyes until he shook his head and his own eyes returned.
