Vampires

I didn’t even register the other 4 sisters screams echoing all around me. I focused only on his aura and on Mari’s. I closed myself off and followed them. He blipped with her to the hill across the field and then he was gone again, the next time I sensed him it was far enough way I couldn’t pin point his location and then just like that, he was gone. I shook my head and I could feel tears brewing under the surface but I swallowed them down.

-She’s fine- Juno told me calmly and I focused on her voice.

-Elaborate- I told her firmly.

-We need to speak with an elder wolf from the area. There are two who are close still. Have Oryn call to them.- she said instead of answering my actual question.

“Oryn,” I called out, still trying to push away the worried yells and words from the sisters around us.

“Yes? Did he touch you? Are you alright?”
