 "You think this is funny?" One of the men said, his voice menacing.

  Hazel swallowed hard as the edge of the sword was pressed against her throat, harder. There were five of them in her chamber, she could sense that much.

"What do you want?" She demanded.

"Shut up" her assailant said, pressing the sword hard enough to make her bleed. Hazel clenched her fists when she felt the warm, sticky liquid flowing out of the cut on her neck. If the men had been sent to kill her, she wondered why they were hesitating. Either way, she wasn't going to let them carry out their mission. She spun around so quickly, her assailant barely got the chance to defend himself.
