Author: Well, I haven't done anything bad so definitely, Karma is taking very good care of me. Blessing me as well, and punishing all those who wrong me. I'm blessed and highly favored.

Sung Yoon:........Oh, okay.

Author: Great! Now, chapter 30 begins.

Sung Yoon: oh,...... okay.

Author: Speechless?

Sung Yoon: Yeah.

Author: Why?

Sung Yoon: Do you have to ask?

Author: I don't know, so I asked.

Sung Yoon: Just continue.

"By the way Mr Kim, you never told us. Why are you stuck in this world?" Hae Jin asked.

They were on their way to the school, walking. 

No one acknowledged Se Jong's idea.

Walking on the streets, there were a lot of people around but no one pay them attention, and those who did, could only see Tae Jin and Se Jong.

There were ghosts as well but they didn't dare come close.

They wanted to talk to Se Jong and Tae Jin, ask for help because they noticed they could see, hear ghosts and they were walking with three of them.

But then,..... they noticed two strong hunters with them as well, that's why they didn't dare come close.

Life as a ghost was sometimes good.

Fear wasn't exactly nice and they didn't want any trouble.

"You remain in this world because of the way you died. Why you died" Mr Kim said and Tae Jin replied,

"He didn't ask that"

"Am in this world because of the third reason. It wasn't my time when I died" he finally gave the right answer.

Curious to know more, Hae Jin asked,

"How did you die?" And Mr Kim answered,

"I was beaten to death by two criminals. I had no love one so I had no business to settle. It wasn't my time yet so I remained here. I don't really....... hate those guys who killed me. I feel nothing for them because I know they'll be punished for what they did. Why should I get my hands and heart dirty when someone else is willing to do just that?"

Right, at least Mr Kim knew this.

Chae Joon thought.

"Come to think of it, if you're in this world because you have an unfinish business to settle with a human. A love one. How are you doing to do that if they can't see you?" Sung Yoon asked.

She felt like she already knew the answer but she asked anyways.

"Also, can your unfinish business have something to do with your killer? Like....... someone who caused your death?" Hae Jin asked,

"I don't know" Mr Kim answered.

Knowing the answer, Chae Joon replied,

"Yes. Kim Boom and Kim Soo.......they also had an unfinish business with their killer after their death. Kim Boom killed him and.....you know what happened afterwards"

"Yes" Hae Jin said, Chae Joon was right.

But then.......

"Kim Boom had no idea that the boss caused his sister's death and he..... ended up killing himself. So.....I can say, he didn't know the boss was the cause of his and Kim Soo's death" Hae Jin said and he (Chae Joon) nodded, before saying,

"True. But you know, after your death, when you feel troubled because of the way you died, the important people you left behind, you remain in this world for a few days. Untill your mind and heart is cleared and you're ready to cross over"

Really?

Does it mean the same happened to his parents? Sung Yoon asked herself.

Talking about her parents, she miss them a lot.

But then,...... she'll be crossing over soon.

She'll be seeing them soon.

"I believe, Kim Soo didn't cross over right away because she was troubled about the way she died, worried about her brother. And after Kim Boom died and he found out everything, he got an unfinish business with the boss. It might not be before he died but he still got issues with him" Chae Joon said and Hae Jin replied,

"True"

What the heck were they talking about?

Who was this Kim Boom and Kim Soo?

Mr Kim wanted to ask but I don't want to explain everything again so I made him keep his questions to himself.

"He sort it out but still didn't want to cross over. Did some pretty bad shit and ended up coming an evil ghost with his sister"

Wow, that kind of made sense.

And he (Hae Jin) understood.

Chae Joon could be right.

"The answer to your question Sung Yoon, that's why those who are stuck in this world because of the second reason. Because they have an unfinished business with a love one, have a special one. A human who can help them reach out to their love one. And even if you don't accept your special one's help, there are mediums. They can send your message to your love one"

"True" Sung Yoon said.

She knew this.

Author: So why did you ask? Trying to annoy me? I only have two hands.

Sung Yoon: Go away.

Opening the door, Hee Young met her ex-husband.

And this surprised her.

The man was very good looking, age hasn't caught up to him.

He had short scarlet red hair and luke eyes.

The man looked nothing like Tae Jin, just like he (Tae Jin) said.

Tae Jin looked a lot like his mother.

But then, they were alike in so many ways.

"Sun, you're here" she said.

After their divorce, Hee Young tried to befriend him again.

At first, he won't answer her calls and this made her feel even more depressed.

But a year later, he started answering her calls and even called her but then, it wasn't because he has forgiven her or because he missed her.

It was always about Tae Jin.

And he won't even meet her.

So...... she's kind of surprised to see him here.

Why didn't he call like he always did?

And......why was he here?

"Yes, we have to talk about my son. He doesn't pick up my calls" Sun said and she nodded.

Right, Tae Jin.

He was the reason why he was here. Of course, if not, why would he come to meet her?

He didn't even want to see her face.

And.......she was definitely at fault. Chae Joon was angry about what she did.

She didn't tell him she has decided, made preparations to send Tae Jin abroad.

It was after he (Tae Jin) left that he found out.

"Please come in"

"Thanks" Sun replied and she stepped aside, giving him way to come in.

Getting to the living room, Hee Young offered him a seat on the double couch and he thanked her before taking a seat.

Hee Young sat on the single couch and watched Sun as he scanned the room.

This was his first time here after all.

"Water? Juice?"

"No thanks" Sun said.

Not liking how awkward,....... quiet it was, Hee Young decided to say something.

Also, she wanted to know more about Sun.

How was his life now?

What he was doing?

How was he doing?

It's been a while.

"How are you doing?"

"That's not why am here. We have to talk about Tae Jin" he said and she stared down, disappointed.

He really didn't want to talk about them huh? She can't fix everything, right?

"He won't listen to me"

"Tell him the truth" Sun said and she looked up at him, surprised, horrified.

"That's out of the solutions Sun. I don't want him to hate me" she stated.

"But this can't go on like this Hee Young. Tae Jin can't keep on hating me, blaming me for something that wasn't my fault. You know this Hee Young"

*Sigh, she sighed before saying, "I know. Just give me some time, I'll talk to him" 

Did she really have to tell Tae Jin everything now?

He was still young. Will he understand?

"Okay" Sun replied.

Tae Jin was all he had now. He really can't lose him as well.

He has already lost everything.

"Are you still searching? For........" And before Hee Young could complete her words, he answered,

"Yes but am getting tired. Nowadays, I just help other ghosts. I help them talk to their love ones"

Oh, okay.

"How's that going?"

"Good. All the people understood me and they believed me. I got them proof after all. I told them about something only they and their dead love ones know, that did the magic. They got their messages and those ghosts were able to cross over in peace" Sun answered, making her happy.

Sun was finally opening up to her.

This made her very happy. Hopeful.

Smiling, she asked, "How's your hospital doing?"

Sun opened up a huge hospital after he resigned from that hospital.

The one Shin Hye's father owned.

And that was 18years ago.

They both left and now she worked at a different hospital but Tae Jin doesn't know yet.

She hasn't told him yet and he think she still work for Shin Hye's father.

"Good. Just that.........that man won't leave me alone. After everything he did, he still comes around. I don't want to see him" Sun said, the anger and disgust in his eyes was clear.

"Are you still working for him?" Sun asked.

He resigned before Hee Young and during that time, they were not in contact so he doesn't know.

"No, I resigned the day I found out. Some days after you did" Hee Young replied and he nodded,

"But he won't leave me alone either. He said we'll come together sooner or later. Our children are dating after all"

And she really hated hearing this.

That man.......was such a jerk.

"I don't like this. We have to warn Tae Jin. If possible........"

"But he's in love. He won't listen" Hee Young said.

Frustrated, Sun yelled out, "God! What do we do now? We have to find a way out of this or we'll be seen as his accomplices when the truth comes out, even though we didn't know before"

"I know" Hee Young said.

They had nothing against Shin Hye,......but her father, they did.

Shin Hye can't be blamed for what her father did, was doing, but they couldn't help but worry about Tae Jin, their son.

The man was just so evil.

Helping Tae Jin out in the states was part of his plans. Just so Tae Jin will feel indebted to him.

He knew what his daughter felt for Tae Jin.

And he used that just to get her and Sun by his side.

If Tae Jin and Shin Hye were dating, in love with each other, it'll be hard to separate them.

And they can't just let them be, let their son be, ignore their son.

They loved him and cared about him a lot.

His happiness was all they cared about.

That man knew this and he was using it to his advantage.

If they cared about their son, they'll not say anything that'll get his girlfriend's father in trouble.

If they cared about their son, they won't do anything that'll hurt him, separate him from the girl he loved.

That man knew this!

And if they don't say a word,

She and Sun, will then be his accomplices.

That man........they regret ever meeting him.

Thinking he was a friend.

Considering him as a friend.

"Tae Jin have to know the truth. Before that, convince him to see me first. Just once. I promise I won't tell him anything about you. I'll just warn him to stay away from the devil"

"Okay. I'll do my best" Hee Young said and he nodded.

He really hope this time, Tae Jin will agree to meet him.

"By the way,...... what about that wicked woman?" Hee Young asked.

They last saw each other 16years ago, since then........ she hasn't heard from her.

And she never tried to find out about her either.

"Has she been in contact with Tae Jin?" Sun asked, worried about his son.

"I don't know, he hasn't said a word"

"You should ask Tae Jin right now" Sun said and she nodded, agreeing.

About to reach her pocket for the phone, she recalled leaving it in her room.

Immediately she got up saying, "Hold on" as she hurriedly left for her room.

Mr Kim and Sung Yoon taking the lead while talking, Tae Jin, Se Jong and Chae Joon walked behind them while Sung Yoon and Hae Jin followed.

Being the last ones at the back, some distance between them and Tae Jin, Se Jong and Chae Joon.

"Why did you call me?" Hae Jin asked.

Sung Yoon intentionally called him to the back with her, saying she had something to tell him.

"Do you know how Chae Joon died?" Sung Yoon asked.

"No. He only shared about his brother, Jin. Nothing else" he answered,

Did she find something about him (Chae Joon)?

"Well, back at the cemetery, there was this dude who was close to the ghost Chae Joon met when he first regained conscious in the cemetery. His teacher. The dude was close to his teacher"

Yeah, Chae Joon's teacher, the one who taught him all about the ghost world and how to use his powers.

He was also the first ghost Chae Joon met when he regained conscious in the cemetery.

He was his teacher, Chae Joon said.

Yes,

Chae Joon told him about his teacher.

But then,.....who was this another dude she was talking about?

"I never met Chae Joon's teacher because he crossed over before I came into the picture. I didn't meet that dude either. I never saw him around. He and the teacher were friends he said"

"Which dude?" Hae Jin asked, curiousity getting the better of him.

"I don't know his name and he didn't tell me either. He only said......he was friends with Chae Joon's teacher and he knew Chae Joon. But they were not close and didn't even talk. Chae Joon wasn't the friendly type he said"

Well, that was hard to believe. Chae Joon was really friendly.

Maybe, he was only friendly to those he took liken to and those around him.

"I met him yesterday and it turned out he know me. He said he left the cemetery after the teacher crossed over to look for his special one but he did come over once in a while. He saw me and Chae Joon, knew were close"

"So, that's why he know you" Hae Jin said and she nodded as reply.

"However, he never showed himself or introduced himself to Chae Joon. Chae Joon doesn't know but he do"

"How did he find you?" Hae Jin asked.

"He didn't find me. Our meeting was coincidental. I was out to get a BL book and I met him"

BL book,..........this Sung Yoon, she was still reading that.

"He told me to help Chae Joon and stay as a good friend to him because he doesn't trust people easily and it has something to do with his past life"

"Oh" Hae Jin said.

This was news to him.

"Yes. And the fact that, he's still in our lives, taking care of us, caring for us means we really mean a lot to him. He even shared about his brother with you, that means, he really trust you"  Sung Yoon said and he nodded, 

Sung Yoon could be right.

"He also told me how he died. Chae Joon's teacher told him"

"How did he die?" Hae Jin asked, curious.
