Mia’s POV

“My daughter.”

The words shattered something inside me.

I couldn’t move.

Couldn’t breathe.

Couldn’t even blink.

The woman standing beyond the doorway looked at me like she had known me all my life.

Silver eyes.

Black hair.

A silver-and-black mark glowing against her wrist.

The same mark that burned beneath my own skin.

My knees nearly gave out.

Kael caught my arm.

“Mia…”

I barely heard him.

My eyes remained fixed on her.

“No.”

The woman smiled sadly.

“You’ve grown.”

I shook my head.

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 170 — The First Flame

Mia’s POVThe ground beneath us cracked. Not like stone breaking.Like the world itself was opening.A wave of heat rushed through the chamber.I stumbled backward.Kael caught me before I fell.“Mia!”“I’m okay.”I wasn’t.The Crown floated several feet in front of me.Its silver light had almost disappeared.Black veins ran through its center. The enormous eye beneath the floor opened wider. Then—A hand emerged. Not human. Not entirely. It was made of silver fire and black smoke. It gripped the edge of the broken floor. The entire chamber shook.Liora pulled me backward.“Don’t let it touch you.”“What is it?”“The First Flame.”I stared at the creature climbing out of the darkness. It was enormous. Its body seemed to change every second. One moment it looked like a person. The next, like a mass of living fire. Its face had no fixed shape. But its eyes—One silver. One black. They looked exactly like the symbols on the throne.Kael raised his sword.“Can we fight it?”Liora shook h

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 169 — The First King

Mia’s POVThe world went dark. Not ordinary darkness. This darkness had weight. It pressed against my skin.Against my chest.Against my thoughts.I couldn’t see Kael.I couldn’t see Liora.I couldn’t see the Hollow.I couldn’t even feel the ground beneath my feet. Then—A heartbeat.Boom.Another.Boom.The Crown inside my chest answered.Boom.“Mia!”Kael’s voice came from somewhere in the darkness.“I’m here!”I reached toward his voice. My fingers found his hand.He squeezed it.“I’ve got you.”The darkness suddenly split apart.Light exploded around us.I opened my eyes.We were standing inside the throne chamber. But it wasn’t the same chamber anymore. The walls had disappeared. The ceiling was gone.Above us stretched an endless sky filled with silver stars and black clouds. The throne stood in the center. And the man sitting on it was staring directly at me.The First King.He looked nothing like the monster I had imagined. He looked human.Almost ordinary.Dark hair.Pale ski

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 168 — The First Daughter

Mia’s POVThe coffin was empty.I stared at the shattered stone.Pieces of silver and black rock floated around me, slowly dissolving into the air.My heart was pounding so hard it hurt.My sister. The words kept repeating inside my head.Your sister.I had a sister.A real sister. And she wasn’t dead.“Mia.”Kael’s voice sounded distant.I turned toward him.He looked as shocked as I felt.“You heard him too?”I nodded.“My father said I had a sister.”Kael looked toward the empty coffin.“And your mother said she wasn’t dead.”I swallowed.“Then where is she?”The Hollow stood several feet away. Its silver eyes were fixed on the coffin.I walked toward it.“You knew.”It didn’t answer.“You knew she was here.”Still nothing.I stepped closer.“Tell me.”The Hollow finally looked at me.“I knew she existed.”“That’s not what I asked.”Its expression changed.“I knew she was alive.”My chest tightened.“Where?”The Hollow looked toward the darkness beyond the broken chamber.“She is c

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 167 — The Father I Never Knew

Mia’s POVThe voice echoed through the darkness.“Welcome home, daughter.”I froze. My fingers remained wrapped around the door handle.Daughter.The word shouldn’t have meant anything.I had never heard that voice before.Yet something inside me recognized it.Not my mind.Something deeper. The Crown inside my chest pulsed once. Then again.Kael stepped closer.“Mia.”I didn’t answer. My eyes were fixed on the darkness beyond the door.My mother stood behind me.She was trembling.“Close it,” she whispered.I slowly turned.“Who is he?”She looked at me.“Your father.”My heart stopped.Kael went still. The Hollow remained silent. For once, it didn’t seem interested in interfering.I looked back through the doorway.A long corridor stretched ahead. The walls were covered in ancient symbols.Silver symbols on one side.Black symbols on the other. At the end stood a man.I couldn’t see his face.Only his silhouette.Tall.Still.Waiting.I stepped inside.“Mia, don’t!”My mother grabbe

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 166 — The Memory of My Birth

Mia’s POVThe Hollow had my voice. Not a voice that sounded like mine. Not an imitation.Mine.The exact same tone. The exact same rhythm. The exact same quiet tremble beneath the words.I stared into the darkness. My mother stood several feet away, frozen.Kael’s hand tightened around mine.Neither of us spoke. For once, even the Hollow was silent.I swallowed.“How?”The darkness shifted.A pair of silver eyes appeared within it.The same silver as mine.“Because I remember.”My heart pounded.“Remember what?”“Your beginning.”I took a step forward. My mother immediately raised her hand.“Don’t.”I stopped. She looked terrified.I had never seen that expression on her face before. Not fear for herself.Fear for me.“Mom,” I whispered. “What happened when I was born?”She looked away.“I wasn’t supposed to tell you.”“Why?”“Because remembering is what brought it back.”My stomach dropped.“Brought the Hollow back?”She shook her head.“No.”Her eyes moved toward the darkness.“Brou
