Alpha Bladen’s POV

“So what happened this time?”

My face was stern but also pitiful. I was expecting a good reply from the face her was, i could tell that it was not going to be a good response.

“The doctors are not sure but they baby is gone.”

Her face was pale, like she just came out of a fight and they were visible bruises on her hand from excessive needle piercings

“Oh my goodness! Not again. This is really sad and it is our third time trying to have a child.”

“Yes it is and i think we should go low a bit. Give it a break, and avoid mating for a while.”

She sat on the dresser chair, facing me and her mouth opened waiting for my response.

“But, we need to start working towards getting a heir to the throne. I would never let a stranger to rule over this Pack.”

I bit my lower lip, gritting my teeth and crunching my face.

“Comon down baby. We still have enough time, well unless you want to die soon.”

She stood up to hug me but i refused and she sashayed away, murmuring words i could not depict.

“Never. I am not dying anytime soon.”

“Good, not because i care about your mortality but when you die, our mind link would be fucked up and i would no longer be Luna.”

Her words were strict.

Her face was unchanged.

“Would we ever reach the point where you start developing feelings for me?”

“Some points are not attainable, Bladen. Get dressed, we have an important meeting to attend.”

Since we got married, this was the case. It was only rosy from the outside, when we were putting on our expensive outfits and jewelry that glittered all through the room but when we were alone in our room, in our satin night wears, it was a disaster.

“Oh, i almost forgot about that. The maid would see in your plastered gown, and ith the million pearls you requested.”

She clapped her hands in excitement.

“At least, you are good at listening to my instructions.”

We got ready after a lot of eeshaping, unzipping and thimble pricks ti make Viana look perfect.

The drive to the meeting griund was quiet, with my Luna and i looking at opposite sides of the mirror, admiring the beautiful sceneery.

Everyday, i wished it was better, i wished my parents never made me get married to her.

I knew everything would have been better and i would have had a good experience with Mia of we got married.

Anytime i wake up in the morning, i imagine that it was Mia’s face i saw first and not the payers of makeup that had to care for me.

Whenever i touched her and we had sex, i only reached an orgasm thinking it was Mia’s pussy that i owned and ravaged.

Is this how i would be living forever?

“Good morning Alpha Bladen and the beautiful Luna Viana. Thank you for making it to this meeting.

There was a warm welcome from the people working the meeting and they ushered us our seats,  my fingers intertwined with Viana’s hands.

Rehearsing the facade to put up for the public to belive.

The crowd smiled at us, some awwing at how glamorous we looked with our matching outfits.

The audience was very lively, with soft music in the background, different colours of cocktails being passed around and an ambience that seemed like only the rich can witness.

“Mic check…one,two and three.”

Everyone’s attention turned towards where the microphone sound came from, the podium lit up brighter than other lighting.

“Welcome werewolves. We sincerely appreciate everyone that took out their time to come for this meeting, you all look absolutely drop dead gorgeous. We will commence quickly. The seer has arrived.”

“With a standing ovation, let us alk welcome the seer,”

The crowd stood and applauded while an old wolf walked in, his face filled with wrinkles and his fur looking grey and old.

He gently climbed the podium, asked for a bottle of water, sat in the chair provided for him and started talking.

“Hello everyone? How are we all doing.”

He spoke with a slur, his speech almost faint and dangly. He coughed and cleaned his eyes with every word that he uttered.

“We are all good.”

The crowd said in unison and i felt Viana’s hand slip away from mine. She took up the wine glass and brought it to her lips.

“So the bloodmoon has sent me a message for  Alpha Bladen, and his Luna Viana.”

Viana spat out her drink on the floor and i swallowed down a hard lump in my throat.

Why would the blood moon have a message for me.

“Please get up while i relay the message you two”

His crispy fingers were pointed at us and Viana and i nervously pulled out our chairs and stood up.

I felt her hands slip into mine and even without looking at her, i could tell that she was putting up her fake smile for the crowd.

“The Blood Moon has cursed the both of you.”

The crowd gasped.

The music stopped playing.

The ambience got darker.

Whispers filled the room and heads were turning.

A microphone was handed to me to be able to reply.

“How do you mean wise one?”

He took another long sip of water from his bottle and cleaned his eyes, holding the microphone close to his mouth.

“The blood moon cursed you and your Luna, for your father’s mistakes. Your father wrongfully punished an Omega years ago by casting him out as a Rogue.”

My cold went cold and my throat dry.

This was the first time i was hearing about this and i was not liking it.

“What is the curse?”

“If the Luna does not conceive a child in the next four years, the Alpha would fal into a serious illness that no one would be able to cure. The Alpha would die and the Blood Moon pack would be ruled by another pack.”

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 82–Room Fourteen

Mia’s POV Room 14.Me.Brin.Liora.For a second, I just stared at it, making sure I wasn’t reading it wrong. Around me, students kept crowding forward, voices overlapping, people calling names, laughing, complaining, dragging bags across the polished floor. But for that moment, all I could see was that one line.Room 14.“We are together,” I said, looking up at them.Brin let out a dramatic gasp so loud that two people beside us turned to stare.“This,” she said solemnly, “is fate.”Liora leaned closer to check the list herself and smiled softly. The pathway buzzed with restless excitement around us. Some students were celebrating because they got their friends. Others were already trying to negotiate switches. Few looked like they regretted coming at all. There was something strangely comforting about it.“Come on,” Brin said, grabbing her bag. “Before someone steals my future bed.”“You think people are waiting to fight you for a bunk bed?” I asked.“Yes.” She said.“She might be

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 81—The journey

Mia’s POV This morning felt different. My exams were over and it was time for the tournament.I stood in front of my mirror, staring at my reflection while my fingers hovered over my packed bag. Everything inside felt unfamiliar in a good way—folded clothes, a few books, small things that I forgot that I owned. We were leaving the academy environment and going into the heart of Sablethorn.I tightened the strap of my bag and let out a breath I didn’t realize I was holding.I was a little bit excited. Not because of the tournament. But because it meant movement.I was going to change my environment and the endless cycle of classes, pressure and silence.I left my room and made my way to school. The corridors already felt alive in a different way. Students moved faster than usual, voices louder, laughter spilling into spaces that were usually quiet. Bags were swung over shoulders. We were not wearing our uniforms today. Just normal clothes.Large school buses were in the compound waiti

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 80—The morning after

Alpha Bladen's POVI woke to silence. Not the peaceful kind. The heavy kind—the kid that sits on your chest before you even open your eyes, as if your body already knows something your mind hasn’t caught up to yet.For a long moment, I stayed still.Breathing.Listening.My body felt wrong.Heavy. Weak. Like every bone had been taken apart and put back in the wrong places. Even lifting my hand felt like a decision I had to think about first.I frowned and forced my eyes opened. The ceiling above me looked familiar.Mine.But something about the room felt strange.I stared for a second longer, trying to make sense of it through the fog in my head. Then I realized. The room was upside down.Well—not literally. But close enough. The chair near the table had been knocked over and pushed back into place carelessly. The curtains hung unevenly. One side half torn from where someone must have grabbed it too hard. Glass still glittered faintly near the window despite someone’s attempt to clean

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 79—The curse learns to walk (part two)

Viana's POVI turned slowly, my breath caught somewhere between my chest and my throatAnd there he was.Bladen.For one lone second, I couldn’t move.He stood in front of me in his wolf form, half shadowed by the moonlight spilling through the broken window. His dark fur looked rough, uneven in places, streaked with dirt and blood. He looked bigger now and yet smaller than I had ever seen him—like strength trying desperately not to collapse. He looked weak. Not the kind of weakness that came from exhaustion alone. This was something deeper. Something that looked like pain forced into silence. His chest rose slowly, each breath heavy, uneven, like breathing itself had become work. His body trembled faintly beneath the effort of standing, and for the first time since I had known him, he did not look like someone impossible to break. But it was his eyes that held me still.Golden.Bright even in the dark.Locked on mine. There was no rage there, just exhaustion and something that looked

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 78—The curse learns to walk

Viana's POV The carriage wheels groaned softly against the uneven road, the sound swallowed now and then by the thick hush of the evening forest.I sat upright, my hands folded in my lap, though my fingers kept betraying her calm. They stopped once, then twice, the stopped.Opposite me, Anderson leaned back with his arms crossed, gaze fixed outside rather than inside the carriage. He knew he was not going to be allowed into the witches hut, but he still insisted on coming with me.The forest we passed through felt older than the kingdom itself. The trees here did not grow in a way that welcomed light. It swallowed it, twisted it and made it thin and uncertain. Even the horses seemed quieter the deeper they went, as though instinct itself warned them not to move loudly. When the carriage finally slowed. I exhaled once—slowly.Anderson knew he was not going to come down from the carriage. So I gave him a nod and came down.My boots pressed softly into the damp earth. The witch's house

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 77—Unsettled wolf

Viana's POV Sleep never came easily that night.Even with the room quiet, even with the candles burnt down and the moonlight slipping through the curtains in the silver lines, something went wrong. The kind of feeling that sat at the base of your spine and refused to move.I lay beside Bladen, staring at the ceiling for what felt like hours, listening to the slow rhythm of the night around us—the distant sounds of guards changing shifts, the wind brushing against the windows, the quiet breathing that should have been steady beside me.But it wasn’t.At first it was small, a shift, then another. The mattress moved beneath me.I turned my head.He was restless. Not the ordinary kind. Not the kind caused by stress or too much work or another council meeting that everyone was completely tired of.His body was tense, his breathing uneven, his hands curling against the sheets like he was fighting something even in his sleep.I pushed myself up slightly.“Bladen.”No response.Another sharp

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 18-Breaking trade

Alpha Bladen's POVThe sun had barely begun its slow descent when we left Bloodmoon. The afternoon sprung with a life I barely got the opportunity to see.The air was thick with the remnants of last night. The heat and instinct with the kind of fragile calm that sat between two people unsure of wha

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 17-Marked and ours

Loren’s POVThe days after Mia’s initiation passed in a steady, quiet rhythm, it was steady for everyone else, at least. For me, it was a blur of responsibility, nerves I’d never admit to, and a strange new warmth that hadn’t existed in my chest before she arrived.Mia healed slowly, the burn on he

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 16-The mark of fire

Mia Heather POVThe bonfire roared high into the night sky, taller and wilder than the one from last night. Sparks spiraled upward like frantic fireflies, scattering into the dark as wolves crowded in a wide circle around the flames.Drums beat steadily, slow and foreboding as each thud echoed in m

  • Heal My Wolf   Chapter 15-The tender break

Alpha Bladen POVThe night was cold and filled with whispers by the wind as it brushed through the forest, humming a tone only the goddess could understand.I stared through the window, claws out as my heartbeat quickened with every passing wind and falling star.I pondered on my decision to visit
