LOGINAlpha Bladen’s POV
“So what happened this time?”
My face was stern but also pitiful. I was expecting a good reply from the face her was, i could tell that it was not going to be a good response.
“The doctors are not sure but they baby is gone.”
Her face was pale, like she just came out of a fight and they were visible bruises on her hand from excessive needle piercings
“Oh my goodness! Not again. This is really sad and it is our third time trying to have a child.”
“Yes it is and i think we should go low a bit. Give it a break, and avoid mating for a while.”
She sat on the dresser chair, facing me and her mouth opened waiting for my response.
“But, we need to start working towards getting a heir to the throne. I would never let a stranger to rule over this Pack.”
I bit my lower lip, gritting my teeth and crunching my face.
“Comon down baby. We still have enough time, well unless you want to die soon.”
She stood up to hug me but i refused and she sashayed away, murmuring words i could not depict.
“Never. I am not dying anytime soon.”
“Good, not because i care about your mortality but when you die, our mind link would be fucked up and i would no longer be Luna.”
Her words were strict.
Her face was unchanged.
“Would we ever reach the point where you start developing feelings for me?”
“Some points are not attainable, Bladen. Get dressed, we have an important meeting to attend.”
Since we got married, this was the case. It was only rosy from the outside, when we were putting on our expensive outfits and jewelry that glittered all through the room but when we were alone in our room, in our satin night wears, it was a disaster.
“Oh, i almost forgot about that. The maid would see in your plastered gown, and ith the million pearls you requested.”
She clapped her hands in excitement.
“At least, you are good at listening to my instructions.”
We got ready after a lot of eeshaping, unzipping and thimble pricks ti make Viana look perfect.
The drive to the meeting griund was quiet, with my Luna and i looking at opposite sides of the mirror, admiring the beautiful sceneery.
Everyday, i wished it was better, i wished my parents never made me get married to her.
I knew everything would have been better and i would have had a good experience with Mia of we got married.
Anytime i wake up in the morning, i imagine that it was Mia’s face i saw first and not the payers of makeup that had to care for me.
Whenever i touched her and we had sex, i only reached an orgasm thinking it was Mia’s pussy that i owned and ravaged.
Is this how i would be living forever?
“Good morning Alpha Bladen and the beautiful Luna Viana. Thank you for making it to this meeting.
There was a warm welcome from the people working the meeting and they ushered us our seats, my fingers intertwined with Viana’s hands.
Rehearsing the facade to put up for the public to belive.
The crowd smiled at us, some awwing at how glamorous we looked with our matching outfits.
The audience was very lively, with soft music in the background, different colours of cocktails being passed around and an ambience that seemed like only the rich can witness.
“Mic check…one,two and three.”
Everyone’s attention turned towards where the microphone sound came from, the podium lit up brighter than other lighting.
“Welcome werewolves. We sincerely appreciate everyone that took out their time to come for this meeting, you all look absolutely drop dead gorgeous. We will commence quickly. The seer has arrived.”
“With a standing ovation, let us alk welcome the seer,”
The crowd stood and applauded while an old wolf walked in, his face filled with wrinkles and his fur looking grey and old.
He gently climbed the podium, asked for a bottle of water, sat in the chair provided for him and started talking.
“Hello everyone? How are we all doing.”
He spoke with a slur, his speech almost faint and dangly. He coughed and cleaned his eyes with every word that he uttered.
“We are all good.”
The crowd said in unison and i felt Viana’s hand slip away from mine. She took up the wine glass and brought it to her lips.
“So the bloodmoon has sent me a message for Alpha Bladen, and his Luna Viana.”
Viana spat out her drink on the floor and i swallowed down a hard lump in my throat.
Why would the blood moon have a message for me.
“Please get up while i relay the message you two”
His crispy fingers were pointed at us and Viana and i nervously pulled out our chairs and stood up.
I felt her hands slip into mine and even without looking at her, i could tell that she was putting up her fake smile for the crowd.
“The Blood Moon has cursed the both of you.”
The crowd gasped.
The music stopped playing.
The ambience got darker.
Whispers filled the room and heads were turning.
A microphone was handed to me to be able to reply.
“How do you mean wise one?”
He took another long sip of water from his bottle and cleaned his eyes, holding the microphone close to his mouth.
“The blood moon cursed you and your Luna, for your father’s mistakes. Your father wrongfully punished an Omega years ago by casting him out as a Rogue.”
My cold went cold and my throat dry.
This was the first time i was hearing about this and i was not liking it.
“What is the curse?”
“If the Luna does not conceive a child in the next four years, the Alpha would fal into a serious illness that no one would be able to cure. The Alpha would die and the Blood Moon pack would be ruled by another pack.”
Mia Heather POVI stood at the center of a circle carved into stone, its edges too smoothly carved to be natural. The ground beneath my feet was pale, bleached of color, as though something vital had been drained from it long ago. There was no wind or sound that even my breath felt borrowed. The circle pulsed once... Then again. Each time it did, the world beyond it blurred, stretched thin like wet ink dragged across parchment. Shapes flickered at the edges of my vision; pillars, arches, something tall and watching, but whenever I tried to focus, the space hollowed out instead. Then I saw it drawn out in blood on the walls "The hollow circle."The realization of the words settled into me with a quiet dread that made my chest ache. Not that I knew what it meant, yet somehow, my body reacted to its presence. That was when I realized that truly something was supposed to flow here that something had been severed. It was as if the link between the real world and wherever this place was, ne
Alpha Bladen POVCallum arrived before noon with Silverstone crested banners from the eastern ridge long before the soldiers themselves came into view. They looked nothing like a pack marching toward war. Their wolves were well fed, cloaks clean, armor intact, expressions calm. It was the kind of sight that stirred both relief and shame in my chest.Bloodmoon had not looked like that in weeks. The gates opened without ceremony. No horns. No announcements. Just the quiet efficiency of a pack that understood discretion.Viana was already moving when they crossed the inner courtyard. She spoke to the gossip hungry servants first, then to the wedding staff, her voice low but firm, planting the rumor carefully like a seed in fertile soil."Silverstone was here for the wedding. A show of unity. An honorable gesture between allied packs."By the time Callum dismounted, the whispers had already begun spreading through the halls. He clasped my forearm when he reached me, his grip solid and gr
Alpha Bladen POV We began slow preparations for the invasion that morning, while servants and staff arranged for a wedding, soldiers prepped for a day that would either make or break Bloodmoon.By evening, I could already feel the weight of the decision pressing down on me. A loss was not something we could afford, if we were to fail, not only would we attract a counter strike but we would be drawing the attention of enemy packs.Murmurs had already begun within Bloodmoon, some wolves were happy, clinging to the idea of celebration like a lifeline. Others whispered that I had my priorities wrong, that I was hosting weddings while soldiers fell ill in the infirmary and they hated it, claiming that I had failed as an alpha and a big part of me tried to believe they weren’t right. My thoughts drifted briefly to the search wolves. It was too early for reports, too early to hope and yet I did, fiercely.Whatever they found, I prayed it would be soon. Bloodmoon was growing weaker by the da
Mia Heather POVThe tailoring wing buzzed with quiet industry.Fabric floated mid-air in obedient layers, folds smoothing themselves as invisible hands worked with practiced precision. Needles moved on their own, glinting faintly as they stitched without piercing skin. Runes shimmered briefly, measuring, adjusting and correcting.I stood still at the center of it all, arms slightly raised as the uniform settled against my body. The material was lighter than it looked, cool against my skin at first before warming naturally, as if responding to my presence rather than resisting it. The fit was exact in a way that felt unsettling, like it knew me better than I knew myself.Grey, the color caught the light softly, rich without being loud. Threads of darker emerald traced subtle patterns along the sleeves and hem, there were protective enchantments, as I was told. Practical, not ornamental.Liora circled me slowly, arms crossed, eyes glittering with interest."You wear it well," she said f
Loren Luper POVThe off season wasn’t even fully over and Zeke already had us riding north like our lives depended on it.The engines roared beneath us as we tore through the dirt paths just beyond Ironclad territory, the cold biting sharper the farther we went.I welcomed it, the sting of the wind against my face helped drown out the noise in my head, helped keep certain thoughts buried where they belonged. At least that’s what I told myself.A week, that was all the break we had left before preliminaries began again. Zeke said rust killed faster than blades and knowing him, he would stand by it till death. So there we were, a pack of rogue wolves speeding toward a place that only existed because of one strange anomaly in the land.Winter's reach; an ice field bought and refurbished by the Killers MC long ago.The land shifted subtly as we crossed into it. The air grew fresher, cleaner somehow, frost clinging to grass that should have been green this time of year. The fields surround
Alpha Bladen POVA sharp sting rang across my head, forcing me awake.I groaned softly, pressing my palm against my temple as the ache pulsed like a war drum inside my skull. It wasn’t new, it never was, nights had become battles of their own, ones I never seemed to win. I stared up at the ceiling of my chambers, breathing slowly until the spinning eased just enough for me to sit up.The dreams still clung to me, blood, snow, screams swallowed by the wind... and her.My jaw tightened as I swung my legs over the side of the bed."Mia Heather." Most people didn't know this but Fenris gave Mia her mother's last name after her passing, it was meant to be one last thing she'd have to hold onto her mother, a name she had shared with me under the moonlight, a name very few people knew of and a name my wolf refused to let go of.What once gave me comfort was now a ghost that haunted my nights and clawed at my control by day. A name she had given me under the same tree I promised her marriage.
