Chapter 10) Emptiness.

Nathan's pov,

I woke up feeling my head banging with a headache.

As I swung my hand to the side of the bed, I touched someone, surprising myself.

I turned to the person and, seeing Valentina's exposed body, my eyes widened, and that was also when I noticed that my body was exposed too.

I got out of bed immediately and put on my boxer that was lying on the floor.

After doing that, I went and used the blanket to quickly cover Valentina’s body with a frown on my face.

Never in my life did I imagine having an affair while still being a married man.

I was about to wake Valentina up, but that was when my cell phone made a ting sound. My phone that was carelessly lying on the floor had received a message, causing me to go and pick it up from the floor. Usually, I do not bother to check my phone immediately after it receives a message, but today was different for some reason.
