Chapter 9_A narrow escape

Bella's POV

In the heart of that darkness, I had mixed feeling, the closer i was to my successful escape, the nearer I felt the the clasp of death, such a weird feeling. What could this mean?

Slowly, I walked, bumping into walls on both sides, which meant that the path I was taking is a long passageway.

After what seems like a minute, I came in contact with another wall.

I picked myself up and with my hand still stretched forward, I found a path to my right again, then followed it.

My head felt whoozy and heavy, but I kept walking and staggering at the same time.

By now, my eyes were beginning to get accustomed to the dark, but for the blurriness which could be as a result of the blood I have lost.

it is even a wonder that I am still alive.

As I proceeded, I discovered two doors along the passageway and what seems like the end of that path

I stopped and listened, loud music wafted through the first door.
