Risk to be there

It took a couple more days before Kayden called everything a success, and Seraphine was filled with curiosity to see how it would be working out. Finally, she was allowed to step into the room Aeryes was locked at.

Opening the door, she entered, and behind her was Kayden along with the rest. The others too were as clueless as her. The beast was tied to the chair, and it appeared that he was motionless.

Although his eyes were open, they were no focused, and it appeared that he had all of his energy drawn out of him. This did make Seraphine wonder what have been done to him.

Seraphine had an idea on how Kayden wouldn’t let this happen easily for the beast, and he will try to make it as painful as possible for Aeryes. Indeed, it was a pity that she wasn’t able to see or hear anything.

That’s when, Seraphine stepped forward and leaned in front of the beast. Bringing her hand forward, she snapped her finger, trying to get Aeryes to notice her
