Chapter Thirteen- New Luna and Threat

I watched Megan walk down towards the stage and my breath caught in my throat. She looked radiant in a royal blue off-one-shoulder evening gown. I still have a tough time believing this woman is my mate. She is everything I have ever desired in a mate. I couldn’t help the smile on my face as I reach my hand out to help her up the last two steps to me.

Once on the stage, I announced in a clear voice, “We are here to celebrate my finding after all these years, my fated mate and Luna. Megan McQueen soon to be Megan Williams, my wife.” She smiles at me as I kiss her hand before taking the dagger and pacing her hand over the silver bowl. I slice her hand then sliced mine and join our hands as our blood joins and drips into the bowl.

I feel the power surge flow from me to Megan as we both lift the bowl first to my mouth for a taste than to hers. I can tell exactly when the link to the pack opened to her thoughts as her eyes widen.
