Her Beautiful Scars

Suddenly Laura received a call from Jayden her boyfriend just after she had her supper. When she picked it up, it was not her boyfriend speaking but a lady.

“Hello, Laura! Isn’t it a surprise to hear my voice from your so-called boyfriend’s phone? You must be wondering where I got the nerve to call you, right?!

Anyways, my name is Natasha the lady that satisfies ‘our boyfriend’s sexual and emotional desires when you’re not around. I have been wanting to introduce myself to you for a long time now and gladly, today is my lucky day. Jayden is waiting for me in the bathroom, do you want to imagine what will happen in the shower or after?…”

Being left speechless, Laura hung up the phone as tears began to endlessly flow down her cheeks. She never dreamt once in her life that Jayden would be unfaithful to her.

“ Was my love not enough for him? Where did I go wrong?” She thought to herself while crying.

Laura and Jayden shared a long distance relationship because of work. One worked in the city of kitwe as an accountant of an auditing firm and Jayden worked as a civil engineer in one of the construction companies in Lusaka.

Despite the distance, Laura always made an effort to visit Jayden during weekends and didn’t bother to why he did not return the favor. She was happy and blindly in love with Jayden. However, tonight everything came crushing down right before her own eyes.

After feeling suffocated by her own tears, she decided she needed some fresh air. Upon wearing warm clothes and winter boots, she left her house for a walk. She needed to collect her thoughts or maybe call Jayden again to find out if he was just playing a prank on her.

A few steps behind her was a handsome gentle man who noticed how Laura was troubled in her thoughts. The man had a modest height of 6 foot 2, broader shoulders, brown eyes, a sharp jaw and a smooth chocolate-caramel skin. In short, his body was to die for.

Being new to the place, Frank decided to know his way with the streets. That very evening, he headed out for a walk where he first met Laura Zulu. He clearly heard her sobbing through his AirPods and that made him curious to find out why she was so troubled. He made a few big steps and finally reached out to her.

“Excuse me, are you alright Ms?” Frank asked with a concerned look on his face. “Honestly, I do not know, I just discovered that my boyfriend has been cheating on me without any slightest clue not until now. You know, I am really hoping it’s just a prank” as Laura was saying this, her tears effortlessly flowed down her cheeks of her beautiful face.

Frank couldn’t help but think why a man like her boyfriend can be such a fool to cheat on such a beautiful lady like Laura.

Laura was 5 foot 2, light skinned, slender but with curves in all the right places. She was very beautiful and literally, men could line up just to have a date with her but this idiot of a man decided it was right to cheat on her, shame!

“Just for the benefit of doubt, try calling him to confirm.” advised Frank. Only then did Laura took out her phone from her pocket and dialed Jayden’s contact number. A few seconds later, the phone was answered to loud moans coming from Jayden and Natasha.

Laura and Frank could clearly hear Natasha on the phone telling Jayden to go harder, deeper and faster until they both come.

Not holding it any longer, Laura cut the line and cried bitterly as she squatted down with her hands covering her face. Frank lowered himself down too feeling pity on how heartbroken she was and gave her a hug.

He waited for her to cool off then took her back to her apartment and made sure she was safe and sound.

Laura’s apartment had a western modern touch of interior design. Classy but yet simple. This fascinated Frank and made him want to know more about her, maybe make her his later on in future. However, he knew this was not the right time to think about Laura in such a way. He needed her to heal from all the heart ache caused by her now ex-boyfriend.

After spending some quality time to make sure that her mood was enlightened enough, he suggested to take his leave but Laura insisted on him staying. “ I know we have just hardly known each other but your presence has helped me massively tonight. May you please stay? I don’t want to be left alone tonight. You may leave if you want to after I sleep, if that’s okay with you.” Laura pleaded with him.

He couldn’t refuse such an offer seeing how traumatic and vulnerable her state was. It was a long shot to sleep with her on the same bed so laying on the sofa of her bedroom was more appropriate for now, he thought. Even though he did not have a good night sleep because the sofa was too small for his big frame , he was glad he met her and followed her back to her apartment.
