Chapter Eighteen

The dining room is packed with men with large bodies, each carrying a weapon. When I looked at the table and saw what they were looking at, I was too stunned to say anything. Gail's picture was on the table, along with the old man and woman's picture; who are they? I was even more surprised when I saw a picture of myself with the twins.

I take another look at the people who are now staring at me. Eugene's nervous and shocked expression tells me that he didn't want me to see all of this.

"W-what... Eugene, what is all of this?" my voice trembled as I asked him, still terrified of what I saw.

I saw him signal to the men to leave us alone first. When they passed by, I tightly closed my eyes, just looking at their big body and big weapons made me nervous. When they were completely away from me, I just breathed a sigh of relief.

"Why are you here? Why did you come back?" he asked, holding his head.

"Stop hiding anything from me now, Eugene! Just tell me, what exactly is going on right now?
