Chapter Seventeen

The twins immediately fell asleep when we arrived because they were both strained. I walked quietly out of their room and collapsed onto the sofa, exhausted. It would be difficult for the twins if we continued our journey to Siargao. I'm planning a trip to Siargao to see one of my properties. We don't have to flee the country to avoid Eugene. All that remains is for us to take a step back.

"That childish man..." I murmured as I stared out the glass window. I can see a lot of lights coming from various cars. It's a stunning view... enough scenery to refresh my mind and heart

I honestly don't intend to leave Eugene for long. I'm not that bad to take his children away from him. I wouldn't abandon Eugene, just as I promised Gail.

And I also know that I can't afford to be apart from him. He is one of the most important people in my life; he is like my own family, so I doubt I can be away from him for too long. Besides, the children need the presence of their father.
