My eyes widened as big as a saucer and began to well up with tears. I wasn't expecting this.

"Mama.." Steve said those words again, and with that, I burst into a fit of cries. I was not like this. I meant a crybaby. But those words meant a lot to me. I kissed his soft hands twice or thrice until he pulled them away from my hand and hugged that human.

"Thank you.", I whispered on which he just smiled and wiped the tears which were following from my eyes.

"Come on, buddy! Now stay with your Mumma for a while so that I can prepare something for you to eat.", He said to Steve, but still, Steve didn't let his little hand go off from that human's neck.

'You can call him by his name, you know?'

'No'

'He made our pup call us Mama, and you can't call him by his name, seriously, Maira?'

Before I could reply anything to her, I heard his voice "Come; I will teach you how to prepare milk for him."

"Okay!", Saying this, we walked out
