"Now I have to carry all these items of luggage back to my apartment.", He groaned, looking at his luggage, on which I laughed.
"Let me help you with it!"
"Nope. Letting a woman pick up these luggage when I'm a man here. Not happening.", he said, shaking his head.
"Just shut up! I'm not just any normal woman here.", I said and, one by one, carried all his luggage.
"God! Everyone is looking at me! Thinking of me as a cruel man who would have asked his girl to lift all the luggage.", He said in an embarrassing tone, and yes, he was right! I could see and sense people's judgemental looks and thoughts.
