I awoke to a shriek. "Uncle! Uncle, you can’t come in! Kiara isn't dressed!"
Raven?
I jolted up, groaning at the pounding in my head.
"Goddess… Why are you screaming?" I groaned.
"Fine, but I want to speak to her the moment she's dressed." Dad growled at Raven before the door slammed shut. Raven locked it and glared at me.
"Kiara!" She hissed.
"What?" I moaned.
"I thought you two were, you know… done." She whispered. "He’s getting married babe."
I frowned, now looking down at myself then at the room before me. Last night rushed back and I felt my cheeks burn. Oh fuck, I had practically forced Rayhan into sex. Kill me now.
I dropped back onto the pillow and pulled my bedsheet to my chest. Raven slapped my arm hard.
"Kia! I'm serious!" She snapped.
"It wasn’t him." I said softly.
I wish it had been… But I had made my decision, I needed to move on from him and focus on my mate.
