The Consultation

Jason paced nervously in the waiting room of the law office, his mind swirling with worry and uncertainty. His son Jared meant everything to him, and the thought of losing custody was unbearable. Finally, the receptionist called his name, and he was ushered into the office of Mr. Thompson, the family lawyer he had hired.

“Good morning, Jason. Please, have a seat,” Mr. Thompson greeted him warmly. Jason sat down, his heart pounding. “Thank you for seeing me on such short notice, Mr. Thompson. I need your help.”
