“Is this why you called me here? To show how good you’re with words?” Luci couldn’t help asking bitterly and there was a little glint of surprise in his eyes as he gave her a searching look which she couldn’t maintain.

In all honesty, I actually wanted us to get to know ourselves a little better before taking things further.” He admitted with a self deprecating grimace and for a reason she couldn’t fathom, she found it to be childishly endearing.
