"You bastard, you rotten bastard. . . I will make you pay for this.”Lucianda threatened in a provoked voice but Prince Hakeem only laughed outrageously as he glinted down at her exposed breasts. "You and who will do that?" He made a mocking sound. "My dear Lucianda, the only reason you escaped from my wrath was because my findings indicated you are a decent woman, but don't try to take advantage, you will pay dearly for it." He warned coldly and Lucianda shivered physically. Laughing devilishly at her fear, Prince Hakeem kept his eyes on her pouty breasts and just when Lucianda felt she would die from the embarrassment and the unwanted passion washing over her body, he gave an insulting snort as he got up from the bed, and before she could do anything, with a blank expression, he covered her body with a wrap. “Try to know your place.” He said before striding out of the room. Only then did Lucianda give way to tears. What was her offence? She was just a disillusioned widow trying to get over all that had happened in her life and here is another cruel soul, trying to create more problems for her. ***** Lucianda Castos, the widow of the late powerful Alex Castos, refused to mourn the death of her husband. All she wanted was to start the process of healing. Prince Hakeem, her husband's equally powerful but ten times deadlier rival, would not permit her to do that. He had another thing planned and Lucianda did not know what that meant for her. She hated her husband and everything that had to do with him. And she would avenge the pain they made her go through. She has only two missions; to protect her son and to hurt those who hurt her.
ดูเพิ่มเติมIt was a beautiful bright day, full of sun and butterflies but deep inside of her, Lucianda Castos felt nothing. She was neither cold nor hot, and even though she had wished for a certain numbness, she felt none of that as she stood on that open spot with a blank expression, watching the events around her.
Even when she saw them placing her husband’s body in the grave, she felt removed from the emotions around her.
She was not numbed from feeling, she was just indifferent because at long last, she really did not care about anything except her son!
Thinking of her beloved five year old son, a fleeting expression passed behind Lucianda’s eyes but from past lessons, she quickly masked it even though there was none around to see it.
Feeling a tap on her shoulder, she glanced to her left and met the sympathetic eyes of her staff.
“It’s done, Mrs. Castos, we can now go home.” He told her softly.
Lucianda wanted to laugh out loud when she heard him referring to that cold lifeless museum as home but she knew it would be a hysterical laughter so she controlled herself and just gave a short nod.
Escorting her to the car, the servant held her arms respectively while everyone around gave her a sympathetic look as they passed.
Lucianda knew the few people present at her husband’s funeral would think she was desolated because she was mourning her husband.
‘If only they knew how far from the truth that was, she’s sure they would all be scandalised.’ Imagining their expressions, she wanted to give that welling laughter a chance but knowing they would all assume it was out of pain for her husband, she shoved the emotion deep down her throat.
Dead or not, she would not give Alex Castos that satisfaction. Knowing him, he is probably laughing in his grave right now, thinking he has won over her emotions. Lies! All lies.
You won nothing Alex and I will prove it to you. I will prove it to the whole world.
Lucianda vowed as she allowed the servant to help her into the awaiting limousine.
Before going out of sight, she glanced out of the window and was not surprised to see the few people who came for the funeral helping themselves to the snacks provided at the tent outside.
She had not involved herself in any of the plans for the funeral but she had made one stipulation - No one is allowed to come to the house.
She knew Alex was not a friendly man, so of course, he had few friends, and she knew none of them really cared about him.
But even if they did, she really did not care. She wanted none of them in the house. They expect her to mourn his death? Fine, she will.
But in her own way, by locking herself in the house and burning every picture she ever had with Alex, even their wedding pictures!
Tonight, she wants to start with the business of erasing Alex Castos out of her life.
And this, as his widow, will be her own gift to him as a farewell.
*****
Dismissing the servant at the door, Lucianda calmly went up the stairs with the mind to drop her purse in her bedroom and then take a quick peek at her son who should be sleeping.
She had purposely made them put the funeral in the evening so her son could be spared of any unpleasant necessity. He had gone through a lot this last month since the demise of his father and it’s only now he is getting over it with the constant assurance and love from his Mum.
Walking into the only spacious space that’s a sanctuary for her in the whole house, Lucianda released a breath of relief upon seeing her neatly made room.
Dropping her purse on the bureau, she took a quick glance at the mirror and then turned for the door, but abruptly, she stopped.
Turning slowly to her right, she blinked repeatedly before giving a loud scream.
Moving swiftly like a wind, the shadow was beside her in a moment. covering her mouth with a large hand.
Grinning wickedly down at her, he asked in an amused voice. “Hello Mrs. Castos, don’t tell me you are not glad to see me?”
Opening the eyes she had closed in fear, Lucianda glanced up and when she saw the face grinning down at her, she could not help it. She promptly fainted!
Surprised by this reaction, the shadow glanced down at the unconscious woman in his arms.
‘Who would have thought his presence would provoke such a powerful reaction? Hmm! There must be more to this than I thought.’ The shadow concluded as he calmly put the woman on the bed. Then he walked to her door and flipped the lock.
‘She will not be attending to anyone for now anyways, not in her present position.’ He justified his action as he walked back to the room.
Taking a seat on the chair he had occupied earlier, he kept his gaze on the bed and waited.
Feeling heaviness behind her eyes, Lucianda tried to resist the temptation to open her eyes. She really did not know why, but her instinct was telling her she might not like the outcome.
Disoriented, she went still on the bed trying to buy time. Gradually regaining her senses, she listened for sound and when there was none, she slightly opened her eyes.
Before she could take a breath of relief, from the corner of her eyes, she felt more than saw the quiet figure on the chair, and from all indications, he seemed to be silently waiting for something.
Maybe waiting for her to wake up? Closing her eyes quickly without making a sound, she pretended to be asleep.
Too late, the figure detected the slight movement. Rising on his feet, he strode leisurely to the side of the bed and bending his head, he placed a soft kiss on her lips. Lucianda felt fire on her lips.
Discarding all thoughts of pretence, Lucianda’s brown eyes snapped open, shocked by his audacity.
“Welcome back, Mrs. Castos.” He greeted with a benign smile.
“How dare you, how dare you take advantage of an unconscious woman?” Luci was righteously indignant.
“You woke up just now before I came to the bed, so, drop the unconscious woman act. As for the other part, have you forgotten, my dear Mrs. Lucianda? I dared because I can dare anything.” He told her coldly.
Unable to say anything to that, Lucianda closed her mouth grimly. Ignoring him, she kept her gaze somewhere behind his head.
“I am sorry I scared you just now, that was not my intention.” He told her softly and Lucianda looked at him in wonder.
Some seconds or was it minutes later? Knowing there is no way in hell she will let him come back to the room and meet her in that position, Lucianda forced her legs to go in search of her dress. Wherever the despicable man dropped them. With trembling hands, she picked at some of her things as she walked across the room and knowing that her body is reacting to the unsatisfactory treatment it just underwent, she tried to think of something else aside the inhumane treatment she just received.Just when she thought she had succeeded after several attempts of trying to clad her body into the clothes that now seem like a burden and she could escape without ever setting her eyes on the despicable man again, he materialised almost out of nowhere and Luci was so startled, she dropped the little purse she has been gripping so tightly in her hands.Lowering his eyes slowly to look at the little thing she just dropped, his eyes seemed colder by the time he returned it to her flushed eyes.“Going
Lucianda wasn’t the only one. Feeling more at peace and calmer than he had ever felt in ages, Prince Hakeem allowed himself to relax on the succulent chest of the woman that instead of abetting his appetite, had only made him hungry and thirsty for more.Luci didn’t know how long she slept but the next thing she knew was instant awakefulness when she felt an unrecognisable sensation almost at the same time she realised what was happening. There is someone in between her thighs and if she isn’t dreaming, they have their mouth on her juicy port and they’re trying to lick the living soul out of her. Even though she couldn’t credit what was happening, Luci couldn’t prevent a throaty moan from coming out of her lips as the man down below blew on her petals before going all the way in with his tongue. He rolled his tongue deep inside her and to her surprise he began to thrust in and out of her in a fucking motion that was intensely electrifying. Unable to believe she is once again receiving
The man must have noticed her reaction to his violation because there was a significant pulse and then harshly muttered words that sounded like he was swearing at her or himself? Whatever it was, it definitely wasn’t enough to make him get up from what he was doing to the woman below him because after a momentary stop, he soon resumed his activity.Feeling the artful way in which he was thrusting in and out of her, Luci almost pleaded for death in that instant but to her shame, it’s as if God is dead to her plight.Knowing the woman under him doesn’t want to be where she is presently and that she is even now trying to freeze him off by disengaging her mind from what was happening, Hakeem became bitterly determined to make her a participant even as he felt some unacknowledged pain around his upper chest. He will not be labelled a rapist! Not by this woman at least.Although he had not planned to do all these when he had invited her over for dinner, he had actually thought he could give
With renewed strength, Prince Hakeem suckled and tongued her salacious pussycat until she was ready to cry for mercy.“Please! My knees are weak. I need to sit down.” Nothing could have stopped Luci from admitting to this truth some minutes later, not even shame or her pride. It felt as if her legs would fail her at any moment if she should try to stand because from where she was pulled against the wall, she felt totally numb at the feet yet every other part of her body was alive. She was certain the man didn’t hear her softly whispered pleads and just as she was thinking of how to reframe the words again, she felt a pull and before she knew what was happening, he was carrying her to a sofa placed at the other side of the room. From her place across his shoulder, Luci could only picture a flash of white and brown before being lowered ceremoniously on it.“Than—thank—you.” She stammered out, feeling exposed and unsure of herself now that he had granted her wish. Will he let her go now?
Luci felt so helpless, it almost reminded her of an incident she was trying to forget.“Don’t do this. Please stop doing this. I’m sorry I provoked you.” She finally threw away every form of pride to beg shamelessly but if she had been hoping to get to the man, her words seemed to bounce off his tough hide as he went back to flicking at her vjay.“You should have thought of the repercussions before doing it. Now it’s too late.” He announced almost with a cold expression that shows he was still extremely angry at her. But could this be because of what she said or because she threw the wine on his face?“No please, I’m sorry and if you stop right now I promise I will think next time before doing anything.” By now, Luci was desperate to promise anything. She is trying everything possible to reject this embers of fire he is invoking right now but if he continues, she is scared to think of what will happen next. She had thought she could do this to also punish her late husband for his offe
After a considerable silence, she couldn’t hold it in any longer and she inhaled sharply before turning her head to the side to give him a look that borders on realization.“Is this why you called me here? To show how good you’re with words?” Luci couldn’t help asking bitterly and there was a little glint of surprise in his eyes as he gave her a searching look which she couldn’t maintain. After a considerable silence, he finally released a tired sigh!“No Luci, I didn’t invite you over to my place to have a tug of war with you. In all honesty, I actually wanted us to get to know ourselves a little better before taking things further.” He admitted with a self deprecating grimace and for a reason she couldn’t fathom, she found it to be childishly endearing.‘Endearing? Snap out of it Luci, don’t let this man pull you into his webs. The last thing one should use to describe Prince Hakeem is childishness, there is no innocent blood in his littlest veins.’ A voice whispered harshly within
