Lobo and I walked into the police station, going straight to Lowell's office.

"To what do I owe this pleasure?" Lowell asked as he looked up from his desk.

"We want to know why you lied about the killer." Lobo went straight to the point.

Lowell narrowed his eyes, "What? I don't follow."

Lobo looked at me, "Would you like to step in here?"

I nodded, "Yes." I launched into what I saw and how I killed the Lycan.

He sighed, "What is it with you? You just can't leave well enough alone, can you?"

"Why did you lie?"

"Because I killed the real serial killer. Obviously, I can't mention that or there will be far too many questions."

I glanced at Lobo with pursed lips, hoping he wasn't buying into this nonsense. I didn't believe him for a second.

Lobo crossed his arms over his chest, "Now, why don't I believe you? Lowell, come on. That isn't like you, why would you kill him without telling us about it?"
