WEREWOLF - PART 1.2

Chapter Three

The night was unusually long for Aliyah as having to sleep evaded her essence. The moment she close her eyes to attempt sleep, the horrors of her pack always tends to hunt Aliayh. She couldn't imagine herself going through the trauma, as it would most definitely hunt her for more years to come, that she was so certain about.

The sun was already out; an indication that it was going to be most likely hot during the day. The chirps of the birds could be heard and the morning dew had never gotten even far better than it was at the moment. Aliyah stared out the window, soaking in the innocence of the air, as she looked around the pack houses.

Suddenly her ears picked up footsteps which seemed to be heading her way. She closed the window and move back to the bed, anticipating the door to be opened soon. A slight knock came through and after voicing out her approval, the anonymous person stepped into the room and it turned out it was the Alpha.

"Greetings Aliyah. I see you had a great night." Aliyah clearly wished it was true, her eyes were heavy, but she didn't have the moral fibre to sleep. "Anyways, I know this might sound a little bit disrespectful, but somethings just have to be done for the good of the people." He had his eyes darting across the entire place, almost as though he was ashamed of the next words that would come out of his mouth.

"I am sorry but you have to leave." Aliyah stared at him in disbelief, after he made the announcement. "Look I understand that you find it unbelievable and I need you to understand that your father and I had great relationship, but I cannot risk my pack by having you stay here. Last night, some of the patrol pack soldiers informed me about the rogues heading this way. I don't want them finding you here as they could be rash with their decision." Aliyah once again sighed, completely frustrated over all he had said. She couldn't deny that he had a point. Crimson rogue would find every means necessary to have her killed, they were never letting any of the bloodline of water wave pack live and being the last one, it was more of a mission.

"I understand your point Alpha, I would be definitely be on my way." The door opened wider and Zica stepped in with a few accessories in his hands.

"The pack soldiers would lead you to the boaders and would direct you on a safe path to take, that is all I can do for you." His tone had an underlying hint of sadness to it.

Aliyah shook her head and slowly got out of the bed, adjusting her body and stretching out her bones. Aliyah knew she was in for a long walk for the day. The Alpha, alongside Zica had left the room for her to change into something.

Aliyah stared at the mirror and realized her eyes were red and it was due to the uncontrollable amount of tears she had shed over the night. Aliyah stared down at the pendant, and felt a slight pain, realizing that she would forever be alone in a world filled with danger. One thing was certain, she was going to have a revenge on the Crimson Rogues. Soon enough, when she find her feet, she would definitely come for them.

Changing into something casual didn't took long. Aliyah made her hair into a bun, so it could allow her walk easier, holding up the accessories that had been given to her by the Alpha. For a moment, Aliyah ooked into the bag pack, which had the accessories and realized clothings and long lasting meals, which were never prone to expire had been wrapped up together.

Upon stepping out the room, Zica was besides the door. Aliyah acknowledged his presence as he bowed slightly in courtesy. They walked through the hallway till they eventually stepped out of the mansion.

The pack was unusually quiet and she was propelled to ask Zica the reason for this. "Why is there so much silence?" She voiced her thoughts.

"We usually have an early morning routine, where every family member try to communicate with the moon goddess, by observing a quiet time or what most people would call meditation." It really explained alot.

Slowly Aliyah could see the forest not far away and three other soldiers stood afar waiting for us. She looked back and realized that it wouldn't be the last time she would see the pack, Aliyah was definitely going to return to get some alliance with the Alpha, when the time is fully right.

"I am sorry, but this is where we would be stopping. You would have to take this path as the rogues would not be able to detect you." Zica revealed as they stopped right at a cross road. The path he had directed her to take was quite open and it would be great to call for help, if she foreshadow any imminent danger ahead.

"Thank you very much Zica. I want you to extend this greetings to the Alpha. Let him know that someday, when I get back to my feet fully, I would return to show my gratitude." Zica had a sad smile on his face, as he shook his head.

Aliyah grabbed the bag pack and embarked on the long thrilling journey awaiting. Moving further the road, she looked back to realize they were all gone.

"Its you alone now." Aliyah said to myself, while moving further the road.

Suddenly her ears picked up small growls and for a moment Aliyah froze, realizing that it could be imminent danger. Aliyah looked around to her nightmares, stalking her. It was strange to know how they had tracked her.

Aliyah looked at the long road and realized that she could dispatch them, if she ran a little bit faster. One of the rogues attempts a leap towards her, but she easily moved away and took off.

Breathing erratically, as she could feel the presence of the rogues as they kept on chasing her. They seemed absolutely determined to get her. She slide out the road and head into the forest, hoping she would be able to dispatch them as planned.

While running, she looked back and realized there was no sign of the werewolves and with enthusiastic joy, Aliyah kept on moving in the fast paced. Everything came crashing the moment her body fell off into a deep hole and the last thing Aliyah could see, was herself staring at what would be the blazing sun and everything went blank.

Chapter Four

War, fire, echoes of crying children and wailing mothers, alongside growls from werewolves forced my eyes opened; they were merely dream of Aliyah's Pack's invasion.

She realized she wasn't in the woods any longer. She raised her head a little and soaked in her new environment. She was in a room and this forced her anxiety to increase, as she could realize the possiblity of the Rogues finally catching up with her.

Slowly she got up from the bed and approached the window, pulling the curtains aside. This didn't seemed like the rogues territory, this was a well structured pack. Suddenly, the door opened and the moment Aliyah stared right into the person, who had stepped in, she felt the winds knocked out of her body.

His presence not only excited me, he was one of the most handsome men sh had ever laid eyes upon. Muscular, good sharp jaws and a long hair falling right at his back. His eyes got her locked on for a moment, as Stacy kept on howling for joy.

"Hello...Mate." At the sound of his voice, her entire sense of reasoning struck in almost immediately; the man standing right before me, was her mate! "I see you are up already." He held a tray in his hand, which he dropped on the table and slowly walked up to her.

As they got close, Aliyah could smell his scent, and it was the most beautiful thing her nostrils had ever perceived. Despite his amazing features and his alluring eyes, there was something about his persona that didn't seemed quite right.

"How are you feeling now." He asked holding up Aliyah's hands, but she flinched almost immediately and stepped back a bit from him. "I am sorry if my acts was a little bit stupid, I guess I am a little bit excited that I can finally hold my mate." Aliyah was captivated by his smile.

"Let's do this the proper way. I am Raphael. What is your name?" For a moment Aliyah stared at him, wondering if it would be okay to say her name.

'He is our mate!' Stacy rarely speaks to Aliyah, but in this moment, upon hearing her voice, she realized they could form a little bit of connection. 'You have to let him know your name Liyah.' She urged on.

"My name is Aliyah." She finally voiced out and this got him really impressed, judging from his facial expression.

"I never thought a day would come, where I would be holding my mates in my arm. When I saw you laying unconscious in that hole, I thought to myself, I could have been there for you." His statement sounded so assuring, but Aliyah had a gut feeling about him.

"You took me from the hole?" She asked.

"Yes and you seemed to have been absolutely exhausted all the while." He chuckled a bit, holding out her hand and this time she allowed him. "You don't have to worry about anything again Aliyah, you are safe now." Even though he sounded so sure, there seemed to be a hint of doubt portrayed in his eyes.

"Thank you." He smiled patting her back and eventually getting up from the bed side. Aliyah watched closely as he poured out content into the cup and handed it over to her.

"Here, it should strengthen you a bit." She stared at the dark substance in the cup and became skeptical for a moment. "You really think I would hurt you mate? Here let me have it." He asked stretching his hand to grab the cup. He took a sip of the content and eventually handed it over to her.

Seeing his way of assuring that the content was safe, Aliyah eventually gulped the liquid, which tasted like milk.

"I know you were going to like it." He pulled the cup away and sat back down on the bed. They kept staring at each other for a moment. "In here you are safe like I said earlier, I would show you around the pack, when you are strong enough. For now, you just need to sleep." She couldn't find the urge to close her eyes.

"I can't sleep." Aliyah finally voiced out. "Everytime I try to sleep, the nightmare keeping occuring." She stared into space as she continued speaking. "Their cries, the growls, the fire, everything is stuck in my head." Raphael wiped away the little drop of tear off her eyes.

"Water Wave pack?" Aliyah looked at him for a moment and shook her head to say yes. "Indeed the story is quite saddening." His demeanor at this point showed there was something he knew that he couldn't tell Aliyah. "Don't you worry, staying around your mate would help you forget it." Aliyah looked down her chest and realized her pendant was no longer across my neck and began to panic.

"Oh! About that, I kept it on the big shelf over there. It is beautiful by the way." Raphael stated, seeing her short anxiety. "I would leave you now, take all the rest you need and when I come back, we can walk around the pack and I can introduce you to.... Well my parents." He stuttered at the ending, showing his skepticism further. As he stepped out the door, Aliyah became curious to know what exactly he was hiding.

Stepping out of Aliyah's room, Raphael sighed realizing that things may not really work out as she had hoped they would.

'You don't have to listen to her, we finally meet our mate and even if there is a long history between them, we shouldn't care.' Andrew, Raphael wolf revealed. Slowly he head towards his mother's chamber.

The place was completely warm upon entering and as a routine, she was reading up pages of her favourite historic book.

"I guess she is awake?" She asked, not taking her eyes off the book.

"Yes mother and I have to admit that she is the most prettiest person I have ever seen." She paused in an attempt to flip the page of a book and look up at her son.

"Listen Raphael, I am your mother and you need to understand the complications here. That girl you claim to be your mate is part of the Water wave pack and you know the history book alot." Raphael was pissed to be reminded about history.

"Damn with the history! I finally have a chance to feel love and I am being reminded at history?" His voice was a little bit loud at this point, but he could care less as he kept voicing his frustration to his mother, who remind quiet.

"All I can say is, you will have to let your father know about her when he returns." She finished off and returned back to her history book. She was clearly revealing the reality of things; his father would be fast determining his beloved mate's fate.
