Somewhere in some distant memories where vampires and werewolves existed among the humans in low profile, there was a very young lass excited to listen to her mother’s bedtime story every night.
“Mom, tell me a new story.” an excited five years old young wolf jumps up and down as she ushers her mother for another bedtime story.
“What kind of story you wanted to hear this time, hm?” her mother smiled as she carried her daughter toward her bed.
“Hmm, what about vampires?” the young wolf suggested with her innocent tone that made her mother shake her head.
“Hm, I am not sure if I should tell you his story…” her mother was a bit doubtful about whether to speak about a story of a certain vampire that she knew about.
“C’mon, Mom! Pretty please!” the young wolf once again pleaded to her mother who chuckled and laid down beside her daughter.
“Alright, I will tell you the un-beating heart of the Nomad Blood Prince.” her mother agreed to tell her about a certain vampire.
“I’m excited.” the young wolf giggled as she settled comfortably in the loving arms of her mother.
The mother of the young wolf started by telling a story of a certain vampire who lost everything in one blink of an eye.
There was flame everywhere and one by one the family clan began to fall into an inferno when a young vampire started looking for his remaining family. But everywhere was full of madness and blood as the flame ate everything it touch until he heard some arguments.
He came to where the argument was coming from but he was too late already. His brother was in his madness; he beheaded their father and took the heart of their mother before him. He was no longer the brother he looked up to. His sight began to be covered with blood and the darkness of the night. It was the same night when the young vampire became the nomad blood prince.
“I HATE YOU, MOM!” the young wolf shouted at her mother.
“Why is that?” her mother was giggling.
“You scared me with that story.” the young wolf pouted.
“Is that so? Honey, that vampire lost everything in one night. He didn’t lose his family and his there, he also lost his heart that’s why his heart was not beating anymore. He’s empty. So, are you still scared of him?” her mother explained then asked.
“I will be the same…but…” the young wolf thinks carefully upon hearing her mother’s brief explanation.
“I will give him his heart back. He will definitely feel alive again, Mom. I promise to the moon…” the young wolf firmly decided as sleep finally took over her.
Her mother chuckled in amusement but there was something lies hidden beneath her smile upon hearing the determined decision of her daughter. It made her thought of the certain vampire who she trusts and comfortable with.
It’s been 10 years already and everything was moving smoothly around the pack. Some old folks were now the ones whose being the pain in the ass from having stubborn sides while the teenagers were now growing up stronger than before. They have indeed qualified already as the protector of the pack but the Alpha and Luna’s family has another thing to deal with. ‘VLADIMIR YU-MILANO, OFFICE NOW!’ “Yikes, the alpha is mad.” Ruen teased Vladimir who was playing his nine-year-old daughter. “What did you do this time, Uncle Vlad?” Frans innocently asked Vladimir. “I didn’t do anything…gosh, why it always my pretty-handsome face always in the alpha’s hot seat?” Vladimir playfully ruffled her hair before stopping playing with her.
Even after a week of the wedding day and their intimate night, nothing much changed around the pack except that, Ashlyn’s strictness around the training was now being balanced by Vladimir. It made them breathe freely and enjoyed the training more but Vladimir couldn’t stay much longer than two months. He went back on his traveling. Along those travels that he took, he was doing business transactions and some were vacations with her family or the second honeymoon with Ashlyn. It was their routine until two years has already passed and Vladimir was forced to stay due to the news of Ashlyn’s pregnancy. He decided to be there at all costs even though he shouldn’t exceed the two months of stay in one place. Just by exceeding just for a week or more, Vladimir’s strength started to wear off which caused him to collapse or suddenly lose his balance. But i
Just right after their weird proposal, Ashlyn and Vladimir went on preparing for their upcoming wedding after a month of preparation until it was time. Everything was fully prepared and all set the only thing remaining was the entrance of the bride. It was the usual marriage ceremony, with witnesses gathered around, a priest or a pastor, nice flowers at the aisle as well as at the altar, and lovely music in the background. It was beautiful and magical until the music of A Thousand Years of Christina Perri came on playing, and the bride came in. Ashlyn was so beautiful and Vladimir couldn’t take his eyes off her.“What have you done to me, Kim…I love you so much.” Vladimir thought which he didn’t realize that Ashlyn would hear and made her cry.Ashlyn wanted to run into his arms but she didn’t not
“ASHLYN KIM YU!” Jace was shouting as he bragged inside the office where Ruen chuckled after handing Ashlyn some paper works. Wishing her good luck then leave them alone in the office. “What?” Ashlyn flatly asked while checking the reports regarding their borders and some neighboring packs’ issues with them as well the updates regarding the prosperity of their own pack. “You’ve sent five teenagers already to the clinic again and they were severely hurt this time. Their parents were already complaining about how you train their kids.” Jace frustratedly reminded his daughter about the intense training that the teenagers were facing with her. “It's not that bad, Dad. there’s no silver has been used in their training which soon they will encounter in their training.” Ashlyn answered with no emotion i
Ever since Ashlyn woke up from her slumber, she was still the same even though her scent was already shifted a little since she was marked by Vladimir. But they were still not fully mated and there were times her mind drifted into that thought which Vladimir jolted whenever it caught his attention. He’s a vampire who can read his beloved mate openly. “Kim, can you lessen the heat running wildly inside your mind lately?” Vladimir lowly whispered as he gathered their dirty dishes and placed them on the sink since they were having breakfast. Ashlyn blushed upon realizing what Vladimir was referring to and he earned a slap over his arm. Then she dashed out of the kitchen and he chuckled before going on helping around the kitchen. But at the same moment, Ashlyn calmed herself down and when she glanced over at her mate in the kit
Celestial Ceres began smirking as she taunting glanced over Vladimir before dashing off ahead of him. She was being in her playful nature and went on chuckling.“Yes, actually both clans asked me to check things around here. One, Alpha King was being wary about Tosh's case that’s why he sent me to snoop around about that status here. Second, my grandparents asked me to check on you since you came back to the pack that you’d helped once before you became a nomad. Not to mention you have some questions for me, so yeah, I’ve been killing three issues with one stone. Great, right?” Ceres chuckled as she began playing around which Vladimir has to run after her. He was still carefully carrying Ashlyn and not letting anything disturb her rest.“So, you’re going to make reports about your assigned tasks here befor
