Weeks had gone past, and Jack had thrown himself into work , accepting meetings all across the west coast and a couple in Dubai. His mind continued to revisit the feeling that something was off with Liza. She seemed so tired and scared, did he do that ?

After six long weeks of non-stop work and endless travel, Jack was finally back in the city. It was a Thursday evening, the clock striking 8pm, and he had just landed.
