Chapter 4

Jack

*warning explicit sexual content*

Jack strode purposefully back to his lavish corner office on the 16th floor, his heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and trepidation. Gale, his loyal assistant of many years, looked up in surprise at his unexpected return and immediately offered her assistance. Her caring nature touched his weary soul, and he sincerely thanked her while confessing his desire for a strong coffee to ward off the weariness that clouded his mind.

As he gazed out over the bustling city and shimmering river below, Jack's thoughts were consumed by a chance encounter with a petite woman on the enigmatic 10th floor. Normally, Gale would have been the one to attend to such errands, but an incident this morning in the garage with Matt had compelled him to embark on this unforeseen journey. The woman he had met there seemed lost in turmoil, her tear-stained face filled with fear as she warily regarded Jack. Bewilderment coursed through his veins as he pondered this enigma, wondering if her emotional upheaval was a result of the morning's events. Though she held no significant position within the company, Jack inexplicably recognized her as a familiar face, a mere nobody lingering on the peripheral edges of his consciousness.

A fleeting pang of remorse momentarily seized him as he contemplated the heavy workload he had imposed upon this woman, but there was no time for such indulgences. The ruthless world of business demanded his full attention, and he had built a reputation as the man who got things done, no matter the cost.

His musings were abruptly interrupted by the shrill ring of his phone, and the caller ID revealed his old college friend, Luther. Luther embodied the same ambitious spirit as Jack, a successful businessman who reveled in the fruits of his labor, both professionally and personally. With a sly smile playing upon his lips, Jack emitted a solitary laugh as he confirmed his presence at the infamous club. It had become his refuge, a sanctuary to relinquish control, indulge in his deepest desires, and escape the constraints of his meticulously crafted persona. Night after night, he sought solace within those walls, shedding the shackles of normalcy to embrace his true self. Jack possessed an insatiable sexual appetite, his dominant nature often finding expression through sadomasochistic rituals, always with the proviso of consent. This clandestine indulgence provided him with an unparalleled release, an outlet for the pent-up stress that relentlessly gnawed at his soul.

Tonight was no exception, and Jack trembled with anticipation as the prospect of liberation loomed before him. The weight of the world, with all its pressures and demands, would momentarily vanish, replaced by the intoxicating thrill of giving pain, of leaving marks that spoke of both torment and ecstasy. With every gasp of agony that would become a moan of pleasure, Jack would uncover a fragment of his true self, hidden beneath the polished veneer of his corporate existence.

Jack's heart raced as he hung up the phone after his conversation with Luther. He was consumed with a burning passion, his mind swirling with thoughts and ideas. Without wasting a second, he dove headfirst into his work, a flurry of back-to-back meetings and an avalanche of emails. The world around him faded away as he poured his every ounce of energy into his tasks.

As the clock ticked away, the sun reached its zenith, casting a harsh light into Jack's office. Like clockwork, Gale appeared, carrying a simple lunch that was quickly devoured as Jack continued to toil away. His dedication knew no bounds, his unwavering commitment driving him forward.

Finally, emerging from yet another intense and grueling meeting, Jack's eyes were drawn to the time on his screen, the numbers mocking him. 4pm. A wave of frustration washed over him as he realized that the work he had entrusted to a woman on Level 10 had not been completed. How could she dare to let him down? He had explicitly stated that it needed to be done today, no excuses. Jack's mood darkened, a storm brewing within him.

Suddenly, as if in response to his inner turmoil, his gaze shifted to the office window. He caught a glimpse of the woman rushing, flustered and anxious, handing back the papers he had entrusted to her earlier. In that very moment, an email notification chimed on his computer, a cruel reminder of his incomplete task. His heart sank as he saw that the work was only partially done. How dare she? How could she have not taken the time to finish it properly?

Filled with a simmering rage, Jack summoned Gale into his office, his voice dripping with frustration. He demanded to know what that woman had wanted. His loyal assistant, Gale, stood her ground, her tone stern as she defended Liza's actions. Jack couldn't help but acknowledge the defeat in her voice. Liza had toiled the entire day, alone, without a helping hand, desperately trying to complete the task he had assigned. She had even offered an apology, explaining her lateness due to an important appointment. She had promised to finish it the next day.

Jack nodded, understanding the situation that Gale had relayed, but the anger within him refused to subside. His blood boiled at the thought of waiting until tomorrow. The anticipation for tonight couldn't come soon enough – the moment when he could release his frustrations.
