When I got to my temporary sleeping base after coming from my son's hostel, I realized that the lights were still on which means that he was still awake.

I knelt beside the window to keep an eye on him until he slept but it took forever.

I didn't know when I dozed off again. This time when I woke, I walked straight through the window and lied down beside him.

After a while, my stomach churned. I was so hungry.

I got up and went to his fridge and took the remaining apples then I drank some water before going back to sleep.

The next morning, I woke up before he did and I was surprised how he rushed to the bathroom after seeing the clock.

He came out minutes later, put his clothes on, and rushed out.

Once the door slammed shut, I got out of my hidden place and now it was my time to use the bathroom.

I washed my clothes and dried them on the balcony then I went to his fridge and consumed almost everything.

I realized that more of the work I did yesterday has been replaced.
