Matt POV

I could not believe my eyes when I ran into the Silver Crescent Pack House. When I saw that wolf’s canines descending on Amelie’s neck, I saw red. My wolf came out before I could contain him. Ripping the male off her, I punched him so hard, it broke his jaw. I continued pummelling him until Blake ripped me off him before I could kill him.

I turned and started to see many people coming forward into the area. I quickly strode over to where Amelie was lying in a ball and put my jacket over her near naked body. I gently picked her up not knowing what injuries she may have sustained. There was blood on her neck and on her leg, but I could not see any other injuries.

I looked and saw Kate standing in front of me. “Follow me,” she says as Amelie murmurs, “Matt.”. I do not know if she knows it is me or is asking for me, but I reply, “I am right here baby,” uncaring of who hears me.
