Chapter 02 — My dream college.

~Aurora POV~

Rosie made dinner for both of us — she is such a kind and lovely person.

"So you liked my house?" She asked while taking a piece of food in her mouth

"Yeah, your house is very beautiful, but the balcony of my bedroom is the most beautiful. " I replied to her while satisfying myself.

"Yes, It was best. " She chuckled

"Hey, Rosie! May I ask you a question?" I muttered when I was cutting a piece of food with a knife.

"Yes, sweetie!" She looked at me

   "There are monsters such as

vampires and werewolves really exist in this New Orleans city?" I asked her with curiosity.

She sounded, "hmm" in response.

"The, vampires and werewolves do exist." She replied and my jaw dropped a bit in response

"I can't believe that there are powers and supernatural species that exist." I shut my mouth when I remembered something.

"This means— the Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Twilight, and the Supernatural series are true." My jaw dropped and my eyes widened.

    "Huh?" She rolled her eyes.

"What do you mean?" She questioned me.

"Yes, I had seen the American series, The Original— the series was located in New Orleans as well, showing the vampires and werewolves." I sounded excited.

My god, I was crazy after this the vampire diaries, the originals and the teen wolf.

Damon and Klaus are my favourite vampires but damn, I don't know how vampires look in real life.

I pouted my lips and waited for Rosie to reply to me but returned she laughed.

"Why are you laughing now?" I looked at her back.

She laughed once more.

"Dude, I am not joking. I've never seen vampires and werewolves in my real life other than in the damn series!" My lips pouted in sync

"You are so cute!" Rosie pulled my cheek, ouch I know my cheeks are chubby but I don't like it if someone touches it....huh!

"Today I tell you, not based on the Supernatural series but from my life experience."

"Let me clarify for you that vampires and werewolves do exist.

My body was so cold as my mind completely focused on registering her words.

"I am saying all this with a lot of confidence because my grandmother is a witch, and she shared with me some of her life experiences with vampires and werewolves."

"Your grandmother is a witch?" I paused for a minute.

She nodded her head in response

"Then are you a witch too?" I asked her with a lot of curiosity.

"So far, I haven't felt anything like that." She chuckled, lightening up the situation.

We talked about each other, knowing about each other.

We separated our ways and occupied our rooms — well, Rosie's room is not far from mine but her room is beside my bedroom.

I came out to the garden of the house while talking with my mother on the call.

"Mom it's not 24 hrs yet but I'm missing you." I sounded, shifting my phone to my other ear.

   "Oh, my sweetheart." She chuckled

"You know what — I miss you more than you do."  I laughed at her comment.

"How was your day?" I asked, while

taking a turn to walk.

"Tell me about you?" She asked me back.

"Rosie was great company ever and a good person." I shared about Rosie and the view of New Orleans city with my mother.

She listened to me to the end without

interrupted me.

"Baby, take care of yourself and don't forget to eat the food on time," Mommy whispered and I can feel through her voice — how much she is missing me.

Well, she doesn't have anyone other than me, so for me as well.

"Mommy, I love you!" I sounded while giving her a kiss.

"I love you more!" She gave me a kiss back.

We talked with each other for up to hours and I discounted the call as soon as mom said goodnight.

When I was about to step inside — the water dropped from the sky.

I looked up and the sky began to pitch black and there were no signs of stars.

Soon, the rain began — I stepped back instead of getting inside

Gosh! I love rain more than anything after my mother.

I inhaled and exhaled parting my hands and looking up — the raindrop dropping on me

I spun overtaking multiple rounds — I behave maturely in front of the world but I am a child.

I chuckled while dancing and moving my hands and legs.

Sometimes I gave the pose of a rabbit while taking the water droplets in my hands

Some time I opened my arms welcoming the rain into me.

Everything is good when I spin over again — I felt someone watching me.

I turned and looked left and right — but there is no one

Aurora, wake up — don't overreact. I screamed at myself and laughed dancing in the rain

The night passes out and the day turned.

We get out of the car where our college is proudly standing in front of us.

My heart is pounding like a drum and my palms are drenched in sweat.

My dream college!

Rosie and I stepped forward together.

The college is huge —some of the students were singing songs at the entrance, and on the other hand, some were gossiping.

And some people are freshers like us, so they are searching for classes and places. It was a big campus with a good number of students.

"Hey, stay here. I will bring my cousin to guide us." Rosie said.

  "Yeah sure, but come soon!"

"Yeah." Rosie disappears from the place.

"Umm, what will I do here alone? Let me roam around a bit till Rosie comes back."

I stepped ahead, looking at my surroundings.

There is a library on the first floor. Some students were studying there, sitting around the corners. I can't be here because I can't stay silent for a minute.

I walked a bit, and I came to the second floor.

The second floor was much more beautiful than the first floor.

There is a college radio station ahead and next to another block, a music room where students can do their extra activities.

I didn't realise that I came to the fifth floor like and by the way the last floor is the 8th.

Ahhh, they are so many people here

But the question is, why are there so many students dressed in sports uniforms?

Then my eyes captured the floor headline.

    "Sports floor!"

"I see, this is the activity floor. It holds so many groups and games."

"Hey girl." A husky voice grabbed my attention and made me look at the other side.

A handsome young man was standing beside me.

I rolled my eyes at his height; he is so tall and handsome.

The look on his face is warm and genuine.

  "Yes?"

"What are you doing?" He questioned me

Oh fuck, maybe I shouldn't come here after all. I am a fresher.

I expressed my regret to him.

  "Hey, relax." He chuckled softly.

"I am also a fresher, today is my first day in college." He winked at me

Wow, that's really a coincidence. I thought I would get bullied by the seniors.

"My name is Ronald!" He forwarded his hand shake.

"My name is Aurora!" I made a handshake with me

"So Aurora, what are you taking?" His question confused me.

   "Sorry?"

"You came here to take up a sport right?"

   "No." I replied.

"Okay, I'll go over everything with you — our college handles both the studies and the sports part of our lives. Like, we both need the extra curricular activities, so one of the rules is that every student has to take part in sports. "

Sports!

"I have no interest in sports." I rolled my eyes.

He chuckled softly.

"Is it necessary to take part in outdoor sports only?" I inquired, crossing my hands over my chest.

"Not compulsory, you can take part in indoor sports too, like chess." His words comfort me.

That's fine!

"What are you taking part in?" I inquired.

"Saucer, boxing, running, and wrestling." He winked as soon as he revealed the piece of information

"You're a true sportsman!" My jaw dropped.

He chuckled again.

My phone rang, and it made me look at the screen caller.

       It's Rosie's call

"I have to attend this call. Excuse me."

  "Sure." He smiled.

I turned my heels ahead at the same time someone bumped at me.

"Ahhhh." I was near the stairs.

I slipped, falling from the 5th floor to down.

"Aaahhhh." I yelled at the top of my lungs and the student down there, stopped there and looked up at me.

"Hey, Aurora." Ronald stepped ahead to try to catch me, but he was too late.

No, this is not happening. I can't die on my first day of college.

Someone catch me! I closed my eyes hopelessly — falling down with full speed.
