Chapter 01

"Sia! Where are you?"

I hid myself on the tall grass when I saw Leia trying to find me, when she was gone from the place where I am hiding, I ran faster and went to the mountain where flowers can be seen. 

I laughed as I lay down on the beautiful flowers. Leia would be angry if she found out that I'm in the mountain again. It's not far from the castle and this is the only place where I can run freely.  

The castle together with the mountain filled with flowers are hidden after the dark cave, that's what Lily told me. No man can enter our castle without walking pass to the dark cave. 

So I am not afraid of going out, wearing my unique eyes. My eyes are different side by side, my left eye is blue and my right eye is the color of the sun they say. When the night comes, my eyes would change and the pictures of the sun and the moon will be visible in my eyes. 

"Sia? Is that you?!" 

I was about to run when I saw Lylia fled at my direction and gawped. "Did you escaped from Leia again? Lily would be gone man if she found out." 

I bit my lower lip and fidgets my fingers. "Leia is busy that's why she can't play with me so I played with myself."

"You can't do that Sia, monsters are able to enter the mountain so you must stay inside the castle." she hissed. 

I tuck my long dress and frowned. "I want to play Lylia."

Lylia sighed and carried me using her power and fled back to the castle. Not even halfway through the castle, Leia rushed unto us and breathe heavily before scolding me. 

"How could you disappear without telling me? Do you know how worried I am? I will never let you out again from the castle if you keep escaping from my eyes. Oh come on, don't you pity me for being so small?" 

I averted my eyes and sniffed. "I was just in the mountain—"

"Mountain you say?!"

Even Lylia covered her ears when Leia shouted. I was about to speak again when Lily suddenly came while wearing a dim expression. 

Three of us fidgets our fingers and puffed our eyes like a puppy when Lily came. Lily is much more dangerous than the two of them, she's... like a monster. 

"Care to explain what happened?" 

The three of us look with each other and escaped the eyes of Lily. 

"Aren't you going to speak?!"

we simultaneously covered our ears when Lily shouted, it was like a loud howl of a big monster. She's scary... 

Leia who was about to speak stunned when Lylia whispered. "Don't do it or she will kill you."

Lily looked at the three of us and sighed. "Breakfast is ready."

When she fled back to the castle, the breath we were trying to hide came out. That was really dangerous, I should have been careful from escaping or Lily will really scold me if she finds out. 

"Now, you're quiet. That's what you get from escaping the castle, mountain is dangerous that's why Lylia is guarding the whole mountain to prevent the monsters from coming inside." 

"I'm sorry Leia, I will not do it again."

She scoffed and fled back inside the castle leaving me together with Lylia. I turned my head on Lylia who was about to fly back inside the castle but I called her name. 

"Lylia." 

She stopped and raised her eyebrow. "What?" 

When our eyes met, a sudden vision suddenly appeared in my head. The dead body of Lylia inside the burned castle together with the body of Lily who lost its head. 

I was there, crying painfully while looking at their dead bodies, they were all dead because of me. 

That's what I am seeing all the time everytime our eyes met. I keep thinking that it might happen or not, but I wish that every single vision I see isn't true. 

Just like the rabbit I saw in the mountain, our eyes met, and I saw in that rabbit's future that he will be killed by the monster. 

I didn't know what it was vision, but, it came true. 

The rabbit was found dead near the entrance of the cave with no limbs and only his head was left. 

"Have you finished reading the book I gave you Sia?" Lily asked while putting the food on my plate. 

I nodded. "Yes Lily, can you give me another book?" 

"I haven't gone back to the fairy land, maybe I can ask for help from the sprites." 

Leia, Lily, and Lylia are siblings and was born in their land. The middle of the heaven and the earth, the fairy land or called as Netroceep.

They found me together with my dead mother when they were about to visit the old castle of the Goddess who created the first generation of fairies. 

The old castle is this castle where we are living right now, instead of leaving me behind, they saved me and raised me as their own sister. 

That's why I will never abandon them, I will live with them until I get old. They are enough for me to live, I don't care about the outside world and the beautiful place. I will grow up within this castle walls. 

"Don't leave the castle okay? Don't even try of escaping, I'm warning you." Leia warned me and gave me a glare before leaving the castle together with Lylia and Lily. 

They are going to visit the sprites living in the east forest, the earth spirit and the water spirit.

I followed them with my gaze until I lost them. I sighed and sat down on the cold floor, the castle feels empty without them, I wanted to come but my eyes is dangerous. People will kill me, that's what they said, and that was the truth I've seen in their eyes. 

The people who killed my mother, the one with the eyes of death and together with the long bright torchs. They killed my mother using an arrow, I should never let them see me, I will never let anyone take me. 

I was in a deep slumber when I heard a loud squeak coming from the window, it was like something or someone wanted to climb up and get inside. 

I held the long broomstick and slowly walked closer to the window. 

I was about to look outside when the window suddenly broke out and a man jumped inside. 

I felt my hands trembled because of fear when I saw the man who wasn't looking at me, he slipped his leg when he jumped in and fell on the floor. 

He was saying different words that I do not understand, who is he? What is he doing inside the castle? How did he get here? 

I clenched my fingers on the long broomstick and examined the man. 

"What the fuck, my butt hurts as hell." 

I stepped back and slipped my feet that caused a loud sound. I hurriedly stand up but it was too late, he was there, looking at me and our eyes met. 

It was like my vision became blurry when I saw the azure eyes gawk at me. When he recovered from the stare, he let out a smile and extended his hand on my direction. 

"I'll help you out my lady," he insisted. 

I wasn't able to make a decision because I held his hand without thinking. His eyes aren't the same as them, there's no future nor truth I can see. 

It was empty.
