Chapter Nine: I Met Givia

"Excuse me. Why are you hugging me in public? What's the meaning of this?" With a surprised face and perplexed intonation, Givia said to me as she removed her body from mine.

I looked at her again, but what I saw was Gina, and why is she acting like she hasn't seen me before? I asked myself that question and still went closer to her so I could ask her what made her give me such a reply the last time I visited her at home, as my mother instructed. But she shifted backward and adjusted her dress properly.

She was actually surprised that someone from no where would even have the effrontery to hug her in the mall where she came to get something. She was still in surprise, and a lot of things rang in her head. "Isn't this guy trying to play a prank with me, or isn't he just trying to seduce me here like all these useless and meaningless Lagos guys do?" She asked herself those questions and decided to gather courage to ask what I'm up to.

Though I sensed something differen
