Chapter Eight: Albert's Request

Upon hearing the discussion between my mother and Albert, I quickly dressed up and rushed out so I could tell my mother not to agree with whatever Albert would say or suggest further. But I needed to do this very diplomatically anyway. I rushed out after dressing up and spraying perfume on my body.

"Good afternoon, brother." Albert greeted.

I answered his greetings and decided to sit and listen to him carefully. I wore a black T-shirt with a jean trouser that I got from a boutique in Lekki Phase two in Lagos. It was one of my favorites because it looked so good on me.

"Albert, what does this visit hold today?" I asked Albert in a diplomatic way, forcing a smile.

As I mentioned earlier, Albert is not the type that will visit regularly unless he has a mission to accomplish.
