Chapter 19 "Form of Beast"

Maxine’s POV

My dream job is to be a reporter. But living alone without someone who will support, I did not have the chance to to chase after my goal. Nevertheless, I worked so hard as barista in a coffee shop. I used my salary to pay for the rent of my apartment, other bills, food and little allowance to invest for my future.

But in one snap, I became a secretary of the CEO of We.X 7-star hotel.

I have no idea what to do as a secretary. My mind became even messier when Chandler told me that my work is to rest, play, and do nothing.

To act like a princess is one of my dreams. Yet, doing nothing and enjoying many things are different. I am already a captive who is not allowed to escape and here, I don’t have work to do.
