Hidden Scars

Whitney pov 

"Argh " I  screamed as a gush of pink smoke exploded from my experiment

I was trying to make a potion that changes the colour of pearls but it ain't working.

I sighed frustratingly wondering if I would ever get it right, it just keeps exploding 

"Hey Whitney don't bring this house down on us with your wack experiment " I heard my elder brother yell from downstairs 

I rolled my eyes.

I took off my surgical mask and gloves and began clearing the table of broken glass tubes 

"Whitney honey, take a break and come down for dinner " my mom called

" okay mom" I yelled 

I guess I'm done for today.

I went out if the attic and shutted the door, I went to my room and changed my clothes.

I got to the kitchen and joined my family at the dining table.

I'm Whitney Hayes, I'm the third child of my parents children and also a twin.

I've got two elder brothers, and a twin sister 

I'm 18 years old same as my twin, our family isn't really wealthy, we're just middle class.

My greatest wish in life is to be able to make my mom proud of me.

So I do all she wants me to do so she can be proud of me. 

But sadly enough, that has never happened, but my dad has been real supportive of me and I hope one day I would be able to please my mom.
