Adrian's POV

The wind was warm but comforting. The sun hovered low on the horizon, its orange hue reflecting on the calm waters. From where I stood—leaning quietly against the cabana post—I watched them.

It made my heart happy and at peace.

Kaze ran toward the shoreline, laughing with every splash. Yvon followed behind, arms slightly raised, pretending not to get wet even if her long skirt was already soaked at the hem. Napakaganda niya, walang kakupas-kupas. She's like a fine wine.

That laughter. That sound.

My son.

And her.

The woman I lost, the family I never knew I had... the most beautiful scene I thought I'd only see in my dreams. It was all in front of me. So near... yet so far. They're just inches away but I can't seem to touch them.

"Boss sir," Blaster interrupted my thoughts, lounging like he owned the whole beachfront

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 20

Vience’s POV The city was still slowly waking up—light traffic, sleepy faces in jeepneys, sidewalk vendors starting to open shop. The sky was tinted a soft blue, with golden streaks stretching from the east. It was a peaceful morning. But my mind was nowhere near peaceful. I was behind the wheel of my black SUV, driving towards one of my construction sites in Quezon City. Usually, this part of the day was when I got to breathe. Just me, the road, and my playlist of old OPM rock classics at kpop songs playing in the background. Too many things were running through my mind.Adrian.Kaze.Lily.I tightened my gri

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 19

Llilieth’s POVThe soft clinking of utensils, the gentle murmur of customers enjoying their late lunch, and the smell of freshly grilled salmon wafting from the kitchen—these were usually comforting to me. This restaurant had always been my quiet haven. My anchor. But today, even the calming rhythm of the place couldn’t soothe the chaos inside my head. Vience was staring at me from across the table, concern etched in his eyes. “You’ve been stirring your coffee for five minutes, hindi ka pa rin umiinom.”Napakunot ang noo ko. “Oh,” I murmured, finally noticing the untouched cup in front of me. “Sorry, I wasn’t really paying attention.”Vience leaned forward, resting his el

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 18

Dia’s POV I walked out of Nana’s tea room with my heels clicking against the hallway tiles, but they might as well have been thunderclaps in my ears. Everything felt too loud—my breath, my heartbeat, my shame. How could she say all that… and still be so calm? It scares me how she looks so gentle yet her aura screams authority. I used to be her favourite but ever since that Yvon came into their lives, everything changed. She took everything for me.I wanted to scream. I wanted to run. I wanted to curl up and cry. But instead, I held my head high, straightened my back, and walked like nothing just shattered inside me.I was raised to be confident. I was raised to be beautiful. I was raised to believe that if I wanted something badly enough, I could have it if I do everything to get it. And yet, here I was… still chasing a man who never really looked at me.Adrian…Ang tagal ko na siyang mahal. I met him when we were youn

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 17

The scent of jasmine and warm tea filled the air, a soothing mix of comfort and memory. Only Blaster had the guts to be friends with him. Ngayon, malalaki na sila at may kanya-kanya ng buhay pero nandiyan pa rin lagi si Blaster para sa kaibigan."Rigour, I hope your son is brave enough to choose what you didn't before." My hands were steady, but my heart? My heart was beginning to tremble. I always feel this way when something bad is about to happen.Tumu

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 16

Adrian’s POV The floor-to-ceiling windows of my office welcomed the late morning sun, casting a soft glow across my desk. I had just wrapped up a video call with the Tokyo branch—nothing new, just another progress report that confirmed everything was on track. Numbers, charts, future projections. All perfectly aligned. Lanes Corporation is the biggest and most successful company in the country. Halos lahat ay gustong makipag-collaborate sa amin but only those who are exceptional are qualified. Despite the seamless update, my mind wasn’t fully in it. I was still thinking about the beach. The sound of the waves. Kaze’s laughter echoing through the salty air as he

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 15

Adrian’s POV The silence in my condo was deafening. It had only been a few hours since I dropped Kaze and Yvon back home, and yet the echo of their laughter — her laughter — still lingered in every corner of my head. The memory of Kaze chasing the waves, his small feet kicking the sand, Yvon’s gentle eyes following him, and the wind brushing through her dark hair—all of it kept looping in my mind like an old film I never wanted to end."How come I never noticed how beautiful her smile was before?" I whispered the question to myself. But then, a bitter smile curved in my lips. "Maybe it was because she never smiled genuinely during the time she was with me."Huminga ako ng malalim. It hurts. I felt a sting in my chest just knowing and remembering how I hurt her before. It was indeed irreversible. I can't take back all the wounds and scars I caused her. Kahit anong pilit
