Adrian's POV

I adjusted my tie while looking at myself in the mirror. Calm. Composed. Controlled.

Just like any other day.

But it wasn’t.

Today, I wasn’t going to the office for a board meeting or to negotiate contracts worth billions. Today was about something far more… unfamiliar but it made me feel excited to the point I couldn't even bring myself to fall asleep all night.

“Blaster,” I called out when I went down the stairs.

“Yes, Boss Sir?” he popped his head into my study, still chewing on some banana chips he thought I wouldn't notice.

“I need your help today.”

He blinked. “With what? Do you need someone taken care of? I mean—I didn’t mean—Not literally! Unless it’s a metaphor—”

I gave him a look. “We're buying things for my son. For Kaze.”

Blaster choked. “Wait… what?

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 7

Llilieth’s POV It was a usual morning. Walang masyadong tao—ganoon talaga tuwing weekdays. Nasa school si Kaze, kaya for once, it was quiet inside the restaurant. I asked, hoping he'd give me the answer I want. "Lily, you're the purest person I know. Kung ano man ang magiging desisyon mo, alam kong para iyon sa ikabubuti ng anak mo." Aniya.Bumuntong-hinga ako. "I told him he can spend time with Kaze."Ngumiti siya at muling kinuha ang tasa. “Mabuti na lang at napag-

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 6

Adrian's POV The day had been good but I that afternoon, I wasn’t so lucky. Dia showed up. She didn’t knock. She never did. She just sauntered into my office, red stilettos clicking against the marble like gunshots. “Adrian,” she said in that sultry, singsong tone. “Bakit hindi ka sumasagot sa mga tawag ko, ni hindi ka nag-re-reply sa messages ko?” “Maybe because I didn’t want to," deretso kong sagot. She pouted, dramatically. “You’re so cold.” “You’re so persistent... and annoying,” “I saved your grandmother,” she reminded me. “Ten years ago,” I said flatly. “We’ve paid for your entire medical school tuition. I even sent you to Europe for that stupid pastry class. You're living in our property and you get money from us all the time,” “That was culinary immersion,” she corrected. “Besides, you can’t put a price on fate and life-debt.” I sighed and waved at Blaster through the glass when I saw him. I used to treat Dia like my own sister dahil akala ko ay isa siya

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 5

Adrian's POV The city lights outside my office window blurred into one continuous stream of anxiety. My hands were clenched on the desk. I wasn’t even touching my tablet, but I kept staring at the blank screen as if it would suddenly fill with the DNA results I’d been waiting for.“Boss sir.”Ni hindi ko gaanong napansin ang pagpasok ni Blaster sa office ko, he was holding a white envelope in his hand. His voice was calm but firm.“They’re here. Iiwan ko na lang sa table mo,”"No, stay," pigil ko sa kanya nang akma na siyang aalis. "I don't think I can do it by myself."Bahagya siyang ngumiti at huminga ng malalim. "I didn't know the great Adrian Raugh Lanes has something that can make him nervous." He joked but I didn't say anything.I’ve stared at this envelope for twenty-seven minutes. I counted. It’s sitting on my desk, unopened, like a bomb waiting to go off.Across from me, Blaster started eating his bag of banana chips like it’s just another day."Open it. You won't know unles

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 4

Chapter 4 Llilieth’s POV It's been almost a week since that unexpected encounter with Adrian but my heart still feels restless. Hindi ko siya inaasahan. Hindi ko siya hinanap. Pero dumating siya. Bigla. Walang babala. "You’re spacing out again. You'll worry your son." Napabuntong-hininga ako. "Sorry. Hindi ko lang... hindi ko lang mapigil isipin." “Si Adrian?” Tahimik akong tumango. "Ang daming tanong sa isip ko, Vience. What if he finds out? What if he comes back, not

  • Hiding The CEO's Son   Chapter 3

Chapter 3Adrian’s POV I don’t usually talk to random kids. Actually, I avoid them. They’re noisy. They ask too many questions. They get too close too fast—messy little creatures with sticky hands and wandering eyes. I’ve built a life around silence and distance. I prefer it that way. Cold, detached, simple. But this one… this curious little boy who came stumbling into my shadow with wide, observant eyes—he was different. “Mister, can you help me wash my hands?” He asked politely. I hesitated but his pleading eyes took a toll on me. “Sure.” While washing both our hands, he stared at mine. “Mister, why do you have a tattoo on your hand?” His voice was soft but sure, unafraid. He pointed at my wrist, his gaze focused and steady. There was no hesitation, no filter. Just wonder. I stared back at him. Most kids would’ve been intimidated. Most adults, even. But not him. “Just a design,” sagot ko. “So I won't forget something that w
