Cal was busy making lunch when he heard the front door closing. He flinched because he wasn't really expecting anyone. Not in the day. Lucas woke up, head heavy and spinning. His eyes couldn't focus in an instant. There was bright light piercing the thin curtains and winning over the darkness of the room.
