Chapter 10

Miles made way to his room, changing into his sports uniform that was provided to them by the school and came out only to find Lucas sitting on the couch, glass of milk in his hand and Christopher lying down lazily on the other couch.

"Thank God." Lucas huffed, standing up. "Let's go."

Christopher opens his eyes, stood up as he bid them goodbye and hugged Miles. "Remember what I told you okay. Don't worry about anything."

Miles nodded and hugged Christopher back before running toward the elevator where Lucas was waiting for him.

Lucas saw how both best friends held each other in their arms. Not to get jealous, as he knew Christopher has always been there for him right after when he thought his life was finished and he was left all alone.
