Chapter Eight

Darkness spread across the sky slowly and stars were scattered all over the sky. The almost full moon was up and the light-filled city was beautiful beneath it.

Bianca sat in her office, sipping from her cup as she tapped away on her laptop. A sigh escaped her lips as she turned to look at the city.

"You there Bee?" Silver called and Bianca hummed. "I don't think leaving without even talking to him is right."

"Is there anything you know, Silver?" Bianca asked. "You're not the one in the human body, I am."
