Alpha Logan payed for all of our pizza, as we started walking outside. Max was gesturing for Mae to put her a helmet on when I got a glance at her. She handed Max the helmet back before clashing into me for another hug. This time, I could feel Willow mourning the loss of her friend. I gripped her tightly, not wanting to let her go. "You have to go," I whispered. I pulled back to look her in the eyes, I grabbed the side of her face. "Go, have fun. You can always call me or text me. And my dad's the best, I'm sure he'll negotiate visting rights." She gripped me back into a giant hug. "You'll always be my sister." she whispered. "You will always be mine." I held her tighter. She let go of me and walked back to Max, who gave her sad smile. She hopped on the back of his bike and put her helmet on. "Don't get into too much trouble." I called after. "Try to get into some." She called back out before Max and her sped off. I watched them drive off, as a tear fell down my cheek. Logan reached his hand out to wipe away the tear, and left his hand on my cheek. It sent electric sparks throughout my body. I looked up into his piercing winter blue eyes. He was searching my face for something. But I just sniffled and pulled back from his hand. Looking back down at the ground, I cleared my throat. "So I'll drive a head and you can follow. But right before we get to the gate, you're gonna need to get close so I can let the gaurds know who are and why you're there." I stated, still looking at the ground. "Are you mad at me?" He asked me abrubtly. "Why would I be mad at you?" I stated. "Because Mae is to join my pack. And it'll be harder to see you." "It was bound to happen one day." I got into Mae's car and rolled the top down. I flipped through my phone for the perfect song and was about to click play on it. "You know, its my full intention to negotiate for you to be allowed to come visit her, spend the night, and for her to be allowed to do the same. At least till your birthday party on sunday." He had rested his arm to on the top of my windsheild, looking down at me. I was completely appalled. "Only till my birthday! Ha! Don't do me any favors, 'Alpha'." I laced with as much sarcasim as possible. I put the car and gear and sped off. Not caring, his arm was still on the car. I played the song, it was angry and loud. And perfect for how I was feeling, so I turned the volume all the way up. I looked up in the review mirror and saw that Logan wasn't too far behind. So I sped up, at this point I was doing 60 miles per hour in a 45 speed limit zone. Doing everything I can just to get some distance between him and I, but he always managed to catch up and be directly in my review mirror. We had finally got to the gate of my families pack land, I thought about lying to the gaurd on Logan's intentions for being here. "Ms. Fall." The gaurd stated. "See the gentleman on the bike behind me?" I asked polietly. The gaurd nodded. "Alpha Logan from the Moonlight pack. He's here to discuss and issue that happened at the pizza palor. I will escort him to Dad's office, but if you could give him the heads up and Gamma Damian, that would be amazing." "Yes Miss, am I to also ask for Luna Ellen and Cheryl as well?" He asked polietly, wanting to make sure all protcoles follow. I shrugged. "Wouldn't hurt." He waived us through, and I drove us to the front of the pack house. I put Mae's top back up and waited for Logan to get situated. I could see the his muscles poking through his t-shirt, as well as how tight it was one his chest. I snapped back to reality when he let out a long whistle.Isabelle I grab Logan's hand under the table as I continue to take to the girls at the breakfast table. His hand is closing around mine briefly before having me rest my hand on his theigh while he plates our breakfast, passing sides and entrée around the table, family style. He slides my plate closer to me, and I lean down to take a bite. Listening to the others talk and catch up as I eat. I feel Aspen creeping in the back of my mind. 'Hi Aspen.' I say to him calmly, he acts as if I jumped him. 'Isabelle, I wasn't expecting you to be so atuned. I'm just doing what Logan asked. Don't mind me.' He bows his head at me. I take time to his admire his wolf, his bold and big like I'd imagine he would be. I smile and continue to eat as if nothing was happening in my mind right now. 'And what was it that Logan asked of you?' I go up to him and get closer. I feel his wolf enjoy this interaction, probably more than he should. 'I like you,' he snout brushed through my hair, even thoug
Logan I woke up to an empty bed, I immediately shot out of bed and used my mindlink to try to look for Isabelle. I sense her frustration. I quickly leave and grab a shirt, putting it on as I walk out the door. I start down the stairs quickly. "Alpha," Anna jumps as I brush past her. "Luna wanted me to inform you that she is in Luna's garden. Shall I bring you both breakfast?" "Thank you, Anna," I say cordially and brush past her to head to the garden. Not full answering her question. When I get through the door, I see Isabelle staring down at her relfection. I can feel her anger and Willow's resitance. Even Aspen is alert, trying to help me gauge the situation before we head into it. "Isabelle?" I call to her hesitantly, and she turns to me in tears. I look at her fully, her dark aburn girls in a messy bun on her head, the green sun dress making her look innocently lethal. The sheer beauty of her without her even trying, even as her forrest green eyes are magnified by her tears.
Isabelle "I love you, belle." He whispers to me, brushing strands of hair out of my face. My breath catches as he searches my eyes. I'm trying to gauge my response. I look at him for a very long time before I speak. "My Mom used to call me that." I whisper softly, 'it's french for beautiful." "I know," he whispers, matching my level as I try to process what's happening. "Willow told you?" I look down at my hands. "Willow told me." He confrimed, "when she came to check on Aspen, they are both itching for a run. But waiting to make sure you are capable of something like that first." I nod my head in response. "I don't know how to feel about this." I tell him as I start to pick at my fingernails, the anxiety of being unsure making me uncomfotable to the point where I bring my hands to my mouth to start chewing my nails. Logan gently grabs my hands and pulls them away from my mouth, and keeps them in his. "You don't have to know how you feel about it right now, Belle. Y
Logan I helped her walk to the kitchen, gently holding her waist and her arm. My nose brushes into her hair, and I feel her sigh contently under my touch. Lidsney comes in right as I get Isabelle settled at the stool on the island. "Hey guys." She says to both of us, bringing in her medical bag. "How are you feeling, Iz?" I raise my eyebrows, but Isabelle waves me off. "A little hungry but overall okay, just tired." Isabelle replies simply. "That sounds about right, giving everything you've been through." Lidsney takes out her blood preassure cuff as she talks and starts checking Isabelle's vitals. "Have you heard from your wolf?" "Yes, but she's been queit. She does this when there's a problem to be solved. She checks in every now and then, to ask a question, check something, or..." Isabelle's coughs and looks up at me, then down at her hands and starts blushing. "to peek in on Logan's wolf." Her voice drops to a whisper, but I smile, and I feel Aspen pur a little. I turn
Isabelle I gasp at what he says. I think it was the first time I had ever really heard it. Besides the fact that he said it while I was in a coma. I kiss him softly. "I love you too." I whisper, I feel him go still underneath me. He kisses me again rougher. I pull myself away and rest my forehead to his. "Logan, I need to tell you something. And it's going to sound crazy." I look at him for reassurance. "Crazy or not, we are in this together." He looks at me and touches my face. He helps me up from the bathroom and guides me to the bed. He sits next to me softly and reaches for my pajamas. "What is it, Iz?" "I saw Mom, and we talked about everything. And she said something to me that I can't seem to understand." I look at him puzzled. He looks back at me with furrowed brows, confused as well. "She said, 'Please try to remember the day I died. It'll be your most valuable weapon.' What does that even mean?" I look at him. "Well, do you remember what happened?" He asks me, I
Logan Isabelle, touching my face in the shower and breathing me in, cracks something open in my chest. I press my forehead to hers, equally breathing her in. Lavender and vanilla flood my senses as I feel the tears sting behind my eyes. "Shh, handsome." She kisses my cheek. "It's okay, I'm home now." She brushes her nose against mine. "I never left your side. Not once." I whisper to her, tears and the shower spray covering my face. "I know, handsome. I heard you." She replies, and it makes my breath catch. "You heard me?" I ask, shaking. She just nods her head and kisses me again. Her lips warm and plush against mine, its almost intoxicating. "We need to be careful, beautiful." I warn her. "You're not cleared for that kind of activity." "Doesn't mean I can't kiss my husband and my mate. Show him my love." She whispers against my lips with a smile. But I freeze underneath her touch. "You're what?" I croak. She leans back with furrowed eye brows and tilts her head in confusio
Logan Isabelle and River suit up in hazmat like suits to put Ellen in a special room. I had made all female warriors go and check on the males and children in the village. Then, continue with their daily nuptials while Isabelle and I look into this. Mum walks over to me as I watch staff help suit
Logan I had turned and looked out the window behind my desk. Everett was still curled up on the floor, his normal chocolate brown eyes darking to where they were almost black. "Are you okay?" I ask him calmly, snapping him back to reality. "No." He answered softly. "Go home for the rest of t
Logan After she explained why she hadn't talked to Willow, I knew I needed to go and talk to Ellen. But Isabelle and I were sitting on the window sill snuggling and looking out the window. "Has Beta Tristian rached out to Max yet?" She asked me polietly. But I could tell she was scared. I shook
Isabelle I had just finished most of my breakfast and drank all my juice. I looked over at Logan a couple of times and noticed that he hadn't really touched his breakfast. I heard him take a deep breath before he asked me a question. "So tell me what's going on with you and Willow?" I finis
