The truth serum
Mara made herself comfortable in the prince's dining apartment. She was holding a glass of expensive wine and the dinner table was colourful. There were various dishes and everyone was free to pick whatever suited their palate. It was a three course meal. First for starters there were sea food platters. There were salmons, caviers, sushi, chilled oysters and other seafood dishes. Then the main meal was to die for. There was aubergines parmigiana and some roasted veggies. The meat was exotic Japanese waygu beef and ostrich steak served with red wine and mushroom sauce. The meal was tantalizing her tastes budds but what bothered her was that the prince's guards were sitting around the table dining as well. This made her a bit uneasy as she expected the precious moments with the prince only.
