Angelina didn't think this was how her wedding day would be, being left alone by her stranger husband.

Even though it was fake and rushed, it still hurt her to be left alone in the eyes of people. There was no sting between them, but he was still supposed to wait for her.

Angelina stood at the altar anguished, staring at the ground as a murmur filled the room. She felt her eyes sting with unshed tears of humiliation. The whispers were getting to her as she felt her chest thumping in anxiety and biting her trembling lips to stop a sound from escaping. She was shocked! Was this how all fake marriages are?
